For me the camera is moving way ahead of character . As I too faced this problem with my first build in unity . I used cinemachine and i use this setting to overcome the problem. See if it helps.

heheh, good work! We used the exact same character for prototyping :)
For slopes, one method is to disable constraints and the other is to calculate the normal(many youtube tutorials on this)
Since you're using unity, you may want to explore 2d lights make your scene nicer. I like that you have a simple skel ai enemy.
Nice!
Hey! I couldn't get the game to run properly on my machine, but one of my partners did and wanted to leave you his feedback:
----------------------------------------
"good first attempt. keep it up.
The level is kind of long and you have hp and I found that due to how tall some of the objects were that the insta kill pits could come out of nowhere if you fell down from some of the mountains, so I would recommend having spikes that deal damage there or something akin to that instead.
I liked that there were secret paths even if some of them didn't really lead to anything.
Going on down slopes was awkward due to how you would just fly off of them.
People have talked about the ai enough; with how slow the attack was, I just ignored the skeletons mostly, there was nothing really keeping me from jumping over them.
The extra movement tech in the game like the wall jump and the increased jump from going up slopes was interesting, but also didn't really fit the flow of the level overall. I think they could work more if you made a more vertical level than horizontal and truly implemented them as feature rather than as a pby-roduct of missing edge cases.
You did it though. Its dope."

Do you know why it didn't run properly? Is it something that I need to fix?
Thank you for the feedback! My inspiration for the level was Mario so that's why the pits would make you restart, but since you had to fight the skeletons I wanted a health system. Yeah the down slopes I would like to fix, and I hope to be able to build on this for my next platformer. :) Yeah I agree the wall jumping isn't built right for the level, but it technically was a bug that I decided to leave in for the fun of it so the level wasn't originally built to use it, but I added extra paths that required you to use the wall jump and velocity of slopes to reach them, so as to help make them more of feature, but I definitely understand what you are saying that they would work better for a vertical level. Thank you again for trying the game and for the feedback! :D
Overall I like it, I've seen people have commented about the skeletons but I understand AI is hard! Good on you for giving it a go in a week!
I found it tricky to attack as I am using a touchpad on a laptop, plus the attack had a bit of a wind up so I went for just jumping over the skeletons. Worked for me!
Good work!
First of all, this is just my opinion, anyone can disagree and it will still be fine
The game is fun to play and for a first game this is decent. Good job with the level design too. Nevertheless I didn't find nothing incongruous in the level, I mean everything seems pretty typical in fantasy, maybe the skeletons and the nature could be related. I mean death doesn't fit in an environment filled of life.
The controls are really good but sometimes I feel like they are a bit sloppy, I was moving right and fell on the cliff because the stop acceleration didn't allow me to stop in time. The wall jump nonetheless it's decent and I enjoyed it. As side note, the attack feels too slow for how fast enemies attack.
Difficulty wasn't hard, but neither wasn't easy so I appreciate that it was balanced.
Music and SFX fit mostly well but I feel, personally, a music more fantasy like and chirps of birds, as we are in the forest, could have given the project a full potential boost. Overall pretty good anyway.
Obstacle wise I believe you could have done better, aside from the slopes to jump on, the enemies make it hard for you to advance. Not because they are too hard to kill but because it seems they instantly damage you. You can't really close in and attack, in the meantime you might have lost half of your life in the process of killing one.
Graphic wise and keeping in mind it's your first time, I really liked it. You did a very good job on that side.
Overall I give it a 4/5.
Thanks for the feedback! :)
My idea for how it was incongruous was this: In this game, you are a knight attempting to reach the castle in your happy little world. But things seem to be wrong, Skeletons are ambling around screaming out of tune, and your jump power is way to much for a Knight.
Yeah this was my first player controller I've ever done and I kind of had to come up with my own as the tutorials I watched online didn't do well enough sadly :/ Yeah I want to fix the enemy attack, but because I didn't really know how to so I made it so he wouldn't attack from behind, so you could do like a sneak attack.
I didn't really know where to find music so I found one on the unity asset store that felt like a good platformerish tune that's happy.
Again, thank you for the feedback and I think I'm going to incorporate these things into the game :D
The wall jump really is a joy in this game. I liked the secret passages too. I only had problems attacking the skeletons, I ended up passing by them, but it's not necessarily a fault in the game itself. Overall, good game.
Thank you very much for the feedback :) Yeah the skeleton AI seems to be the biggest issue everyone is having :/ Sadly I'm inexperienced in AI systems so this is one of my first. As I was running out of time I decided to remove the ability for the Skeleton to attack what is behind it so you could sneak attack it basically. As this seems to be something people are enjoying, I may add to it after the game jam and of course work on the enemy AI
The wall jump allows me to build vertical speed in a oddly satisfying way.
Very good game!
