Use of the limitation
The heroine of the story needs 'Get Well' wishes to recover from a stroke, so players may write Get Well wishes in addition to following the story and coming up with solutions for the heroine's ordeal.

Cookies eaten
No cookies, but plenty of dark cocoa.

A text-heavy story needs paragraphs; walls of text are hard to read. I'd also outline the text to the left, instead of centering it. Ideally, this would become more of a visual novel, with text broken into small chunks of dialog, written out in a steady pace, so it's all easier on the eyes and attention span.

I like the premise of interacting with the main character through written messages, but with a story like this, I also prefer to know my own role in it; am I a character in Mable's life, am I a random voyeur shouting get-well messages at her? I personally feel like the story would benefit from making the player's connection to the character(s) more clear.

Thank you for this thoughful feedback. It ispositive and helpful. I'm thinking that the player's role will be to take part in some of the choices Mable will have  to make as the story advances.  She will have to make decisions. And  every single good wish the player can make for her will enhance the player's opportunity for reflecting on and making better their own health and life choices.

I love the emotional intent and really enjoy stories with deep themes. This is cool and you should keep working on it! The idea of writing notes of encouragement is probably good for all us to do, and an invitation to interact with characters going through tough stuff is really important game dev work. Too many games are about instant gratification, and I liked the slower experience you've started building here. Keep it up!

Thank you very much for your wonderful feedback and good wishes. I felt hugged! I've been working non--stop sincet the jam started and it's been going slowly. So, thanks a lot fo the encouragement, I feel that your words really help me, maybe even more than the cocoa!

So it was an interesting experience, but it lacked interactivity. There's a huge amount of text, and the large paragraphs really give the impression of reading a book. I found it hard to keep going, because although the story seemed interesting, I wasn't paying attention.

There are several points that could be improved: the aesthetics, so all the graphics, you have to try to have a clearer vision of what the game should look like. It might be interesting to add more illustrations and learn about UX/UI to understand what needs to be changed on the interface to make it more understandable [UX] but also more attractive [UI].

Next, you need to reduce the amount of text - it's heavy on the eyes! Or you can find a way of hiding it by doing something more akin to a modern-day Visual Novel.

Thank you.  I appreciate your feedback and the fact that you've read the text. Hopefully there will be a second version which is updated to be a more modern Visual Novel.  Once the story is completed, that is, with the help of more cocoa!

I did not eat cookies but drank black cocoa , allegedly good for the heart and the brain!:) To all the programmers and coffee enthusiasts out there, I raise my mug to you!
