I found the controls to be really weird. I included it in my LowRezJam compilation, if you’d like to take a look :)

Remembered me a bit about International Track & Field 2000 too, for the button mechanics, really liked the implementation of heart rate and the target shooting! It's pretty simple, but really challenging! :) I also really liked the fact that you must coordinate the L/R presses, and not just spam the buttons. :P

Felt entirely authentic to the old sports games, and I liked the retro palette. One or two more pixels would make the font a lot easier to read.

this is what I wanted to do when I entered the jam. I like the idea of coordinating buttons to play sports games. The heart mechanics is a great way to ballance things .

It reminds me of those olympic videogames of 80s/90s and it also reminds me decatlon from atari.

The idea of a making a sports game is neat. Though I sort of got used to it, the run timing is a bit weird. I expected to be able to just alternate left and right as fast as possible but that doesn't seem to work. I also feel like the distance between shooting segments is a bit long, though I imagine it's probably accurate to the real sport. The limited colour palette is nice and I like how it's clear what everything is despite the limited graphics. The audio also works well.
