I think you left a debug tool in the jam build :P

If you press X while the camera is open, it'll show a bunch of multicolored dots on a black background, those dots just so happen to line up with the positioning of the animatronics. But you didn't hear this from me!

Also, I'm not sure if the blindspot lights actually work to show you that an animatronic is at your door about to get you? I watched Bonnie come up (very quickly I might add :P) but he didn't show up at the door, he just jumped me. There may be a little bit of finalizing mechanics left to do here!

absolutely SICK remake! haven't played much fnaf but consumed lots of fnaf content, and seeing the security room and doors / lights, then bringing up the camera and flipping through cams, experiencing everything was so cool. it really felt like i was playing fnaf on an old console. this is helped by the absolute fire graphics on a restrictive but very visually pleasing gameboy / 2bit color palette; you used colors very efficiently and aesthetically. i'd love to see what you do with the sounds and ambiance since fnaf is so dependent on sound cues

as I don't know the original game I absolutely didn't understand what I had to do... but it looks really well done especially for pico 8 it looks very pretty and the choice of colors works well.

Love it very cool for only 2 weeks

This looks really neat! I’ve never played FNAF so I didn’t know what I was supposed to do, but I love all the polish I saw. Really nice!

You've made a neat little remake here! The concept of FNAF on the gameboy is for sure a creative one. The games visuals are pretty good, and everything is quite faithful to the original.

Whenever I first entered the game I was confused what I was looking at for a good couple seconds - then I realised it was the office from the top down. Nothing really looked distinct enough for me to instantly make that connection - but I think the rooms on the cameras look great! Since you say you wanna continue this project I'd definitely suggest rendering the office from a first person perspective as well.

The sprites for the animatronics look great and are wonderfully crafted for an asethetic that only allows for different shades of green - so well done with that! The lack of audio was kind of a bummer though since audio is usually the most important part of a horror game so I'd always recommend making it a priority! Though in Jams I'm definitely guilty of neglecting audio til the end too lol.

Great job with this entry! I hope my feedback allows you to make this even better in the coming weeks :)

Very lovely graphics-wise! It truly looks as if a lot of attention was put to the graphical fidelity.

However the lack of sounds kinda kills the athmosphere - even if the rest is quite good.
