Did you work in a team?
I am solely to blame.
Was the resolution a challenge?
Not really, using TIC-80 and a clipping viewport made it a breeze. As others have said, fitting text in such a small space is a challenge but at least it makes you concentrate on the absolutely essential.
What did you learn?
Never entered the Low Rez Jam before so quite pleased it all worked out ok. I'm not particularly happy with the music/sound effects but that's down to my lack of familiarity with TIC-80, not a criticism of it.

I enjoyed slicing those guys up very much, I guess I am a bad person...
An awesome arcade game I'd say. The cooldown on the saw was a little bit annoying considering the encounters being random. I'd like a faster saw cooldown which would make slicing more fun. Yeah, I guess I really am a bad person...
As a design suggestion, I guess you could make the saw cooldown a lot faster but make the player lose score as time goes on. This way, there would be an actively seen and blatant restriction which would make the player keep on slicing people effectively and efficiently.
I really enjoyed the game, it was such a unique take. Awesome utilization of resolution restriction and great visuals. The audio was a bit annoying I'd say... The sound effects were excellent though!
Awesome job!
Hey, thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. I agree about the music, even I find it annoying! And yes the cool-down isn't quite right... I did fiddle with it a bit but decided to err on the side of frustration (plus I had to limit the score because there wasn't enough space for 5 digits :D).
Well that was... interesting...
Fun game. I really like the music. The cooldown on the saw was a little annoying though. And sometimes it would take a long time for an ingredient to come up.
Neat idea. unique concept
fun little minigame, it took a little to get familiar with it, but after i did, i started making lots of sauce.
A good game ........... that is all have to say after turning people into sauce.
