Just Me...

I Accidentally forgot to uncheck the 0 spot level, in my unity build settings, which is for the 3rd Person Controller + Fly Mode template that I used, my game actually starts with the 1 and 2 spots on the build settings. I can't reupload onto due to the Jam's voting process but have uploaded a correct version onto google drive that can be downloaded from here:

There is a shadow glitch that happens if you set the graphics quality higher than "Fast" not sure how to fix.

I also had problems getting out of wherever I started. I played the Google Drive version. All I could do was run around. There was no combat or flying or anything. So really, all I can rate are the graphics. Which admittedly are amazing. The running animation is so smooth.

On the version downloaded from google drive, once you are in the city did you press the F Key on your keyboard? It should have started your mecha to float so that you could use w,s,a,d to fly and the mouse to look around. I didn't have time to add enemies or any kind of collectables. Hoping to update the project soon though. Cheers!

I did not press F, because I did not see any instructions to do so. I tried pressing a bunch of keys randomly, but none of them did anything. Perhaps it's because there was no flying tutorial in that download?

message jim. he will probably fix it for you since you where on time and its a simple mistake

Hmm, don't take that personal, but I didn't like anything :(

The only thing I was able to test was the "3rd Person Controller + Fly Mode" which is just one of the assets, I wasn't able to get out of the tutorial(which I think is just a demo of this asset) (from comments below I thought that by pressing ESC I would be able to get out of it, but it doesn't show anything :/)

So...based solely on this experience...I wasn't able to rate anything else, sorry man, I don't know if I have to execute all commands of the tutorial (mouse wheel is broken, so...) but at least for me it wasn't a good experience.

Although I really hope I could play it better.

Thanks for the frank review. Just found out that I forgot to uncheck the 3rd Person Controller + Fly Mode from the 0 spot of the build settings. My version in the build settings worked because I only used build spots 1 and 2 and from 1 and 2 you never go to 0. I can't upload the correct version due to the voting of the Jam, but I will try to add a google drive link to the correct version on the Matsuri Mecha page comments. Thanks again for the revelation and now I know to test my .exe's before I upload them! Cheers!

Here is a link to the corrected version on google drive:

i'm sure i would like this but i don't know how to exit the tutorial?

If you press the "ESC" key during the game, the pause menu has an option to quit the game.

i tried that but it just made my cursor appear. does the build work on your computer?

I just realized that I had not tested my .exe before uploading and there is an issue, (forgot to uncheck the 1st scene in my unity build settings). I can't reupload due to the jam ratings going on but i'll see if I can upload a corrected version on the Matsuri Mecha page. Thanks again for testing and finding this "bug". Cheers!

hey no problem man i'm looking forward to checking it out

Thanks for the comments again. The game is basically a mech running and flying around a Japanese city. There is really no enemies, no collectables, just explore the city in a mecha. I hope to add more to it in the future.

Unity is a powerful engine!
