This is a bit of a confusing game, but it has a cool concept, art, and music. A suggestion I have is that it shows how much each machine is taking resources and giving resources, but it's pretty good without that :D, good job for finishing it :D
Yeah, once I started writing instructions for the game I realized how unintuitive it actually is. I'm glad you actually liked it, I thought it was too confusing for anyone to really enjoy it. I really wish we had a second or 2 to add some more info onscreen, but yeah time just ran out.
So you just keep destroying machines a little bit before the Energy goes to 0 and keep going? I dont know, i dont see the point of the game, maybe it would have worked better as an incremental game? What is the meaning of the central Machine? Also is the destroying of machines made by the central machine?
Also, submited 49 seconds before deadline? Damn that was close.
To answer your first question, destroying the machines right before the time runs out might not always be the best strategy as the energy generation after 30 second mark is next to none. But I have to agree this idea seemed more fun as an idea than it was in reality. Maybe it would have been more fun if the machine prices, energy consumptions etc were more balanced.
To be honest I don't exactly know what's the deal with the central machine, it was drawn by Ghostsilver and I'm not exactly sure, what his plan with it was, he probably has to comment on it himself.
Sorry, I don't understand what to do? Am I missing something?
I was too tired and low on time to write proper instructions, sorry. But basically the description below the game should more or less explain what the game is about. I'll add proper instructions soon.
The description now contains some basic instructions, I hope it helps.
