How did you implement the theme?
We added a flashlight system. If your battery runs out, you lose the game. Your goal is to find the necessary items and escape before your light runs out. Also, monsters can only be stopped with light.

How did you add the special object?
We added some boat chassis parts to game. You need to find these parts to fix your boat and escape.

Very good game. Took me a long time to finish. I got lost so easily lol. It would be better if you can add some indicators of how many parts the player has found and how many left. I also agree that unique landmarks would make it much more friendly for players. But I understand the time is tight. BTW I really like the pipe puzzle.

this is awesome, for being worked on for only a week, its amazing! I love the models and the area, and whether it is intended or not, the map is just confusing enough for me to get lost. didn't get to finish, but this game is really good! the enemies could be quieter slower and attack at all angles, and get louder faster, but from closer. also, just a suggestion, but if there was a map system where it filled out as you go along like minecraft would be awesome and it would help with navigation late game.

Thanks! Glad you liked it :) I didn't add a map system because our map wasn't randomly generated but I'll make one as soon as I learn how to create a random map. Making the enemy mechanics was a bit difficult, there were a lot of problems but from now on I'll start learning how to make a new and improved enemy system.

Great game you all done a great job for this being your first game (you certainly done better than me when I joined my first jam). The atmosphere was on point and so were the sound effects and ambience. The enemys could have done with a bit of improvment for me being able to hear them coming kind of took away from the horror aspect of the game and they always seemed to come at you from the front so they were not to bad to deal with. Overall great game with the potential to be something even greater.

Thank you for your nice comment. We are glad you liked it :)

I tried to make the enemies come from all directions but since it is my first enemy system I encountered some problems. After I rest a bit I will learn how to make a more advanced enemy AI.

This kind of reminds me of Slender: The Eight Pages in a way. I'm not sure if that is what you were going for, but I found it to be cool. I like how the flashlight follows the mouse too, you don't really see that often. I also like audio. The first time I encountered the enemies in the game had me a little panicked as I was trying to figure out where it was coming from. However, I think that is where this game has some problems. After going through a few encounters, it seemed like they always (for me at least) were coming from in front of me. I think it would be scarier if you had to look around for them because the moment would be more tense. Also, it is very easy to get lost and turned around. I think if you added some unique landmarks (nothing too crazy, just something recognizable) in certain locations, then it would be easier for players to know they aren't just walking in circles. Slender does this, and I think it would work for your game as well. With some more time, I think this game could be pretty good and scary.

Thanks, glad you liked it :) After I rest a bit, I'll learn how to code a more complex enemy AI. I'm also planning on making a map system that opens as you explore after learning about random map generation.

Very good athmosphere.  For me good game.  More objects could be added to improve the complexity of the game.
