Hello..........ha, the idea of the game is creative. Well done! I like this idea very much!!
thank you! ๐
Interesting game. Took me a bit to figure out I had to submit a guess before I got a hint about how close I was. I struggled with this game given I suffer from partial color-blindness (and there isn't really a way to account for that given the point of the game) so I definitely appreciated the hints of which way to go. I can honestly say I got one correct! Don't give up! While I may not be your target audience, if I can get my wife to try this, I may just yet get some payback for when she makes fun of my sense of color "matching" that is basically non-existent!
Aww... Thank you so much ๐ Your comment warms my heart ๐
Gameplay: 4/5
I like the game very much; the one thing that confused me is that it talks about a "How to play" file, but there is no such file; you have to look at the game page. Nonetheless, I typed some keys and found it out.
Creativity: 5/5
Something completely new (as far as I know).
Graphics/sound/polish: 2/5
Well, since there are just some boxes and text to line up, I am very picky and notice, that some things are almost centered, but not quite. I always get the labelling with the less-than/greater-than backwards and the strange randomly-appearing clicking noise is strange.
Interpretation/completeness: 5/5
It's complete and completely random!
ใพ(โขฯโข`)o Thanks bro !๐ฅณ๐๐๐
Woops, somehow it posted multiple copies of my review but I just deleted the extra ones.
I usually click the stars, write my comment, and then try to post the comment. My browser then prompts me to save the stars first, but the comment already got posted nonetheless. If I click post again, I double-post as well.
The correct order would be: Click the stars, save the stars, write a comment, post the comment. But most of the time, I get it wrong.
GAMEPLAY: 4 / 5
It wasn't very clear what the goal of the game was or what the controls were. At first I thought it was one of those endless clicker games. Thankfully the game page explained everything (but ideally, game instructions should be in the game itself).
Anyways, after figuring out how to play, I was very pleasantly surprised at the simplicity of it all and how FUN it actually was.
I would recommend making labels so the player knows if they are adjusting the R , G or B value.
CREATIVITY: 5 / 5
This was one of my favorite games in this Jam and it's a classic example of "Don't judge a book by its cover." Trying to match the color on the screen was a nice brain exercise. The fact that you turned matching colors into a game is very impressive. Don't lose that passion! If this is what you can do in 12 hours I'd like to see what you could do with more time.
GRAPHICS / SOUND /POLISH: 3 / 5
This category is hard to judge. Because color is such an integral part of this game, you can't really do much to it without changing the core experience of the game itself. This really is one of those games that needs to keep its graphics simple.
INTERPRETATION OF THEME AND COMPLETENESS: 4 / 5
I noticed that after guessing one color another one was randomly generated.
OMG... thank you for your rating ๐ฅณ๐๐ You have motivated me so much ๐
Wow....you and Iziminza always wrote detailed comments from the BASIC Jam #1 to #3.
Thank you very much!!!!!
You're welcome! I've always found that ratings are more meaningful when accompanied by the rationale.
