This post is about the entry. Not too many menu items in the current state but It is a good attempt. Though this project is not quite complete, it has potential. I hope that you will continue to develop this Web project to make it as powerful as possible in the future. Finally, it may become very popular.

Hello!

Perhaps the regulations of the jam are not clear enough. I will clearly state that only games will be accepted in the future BASIC jams. So all entrants will not be in confusion in the future.  Anyway, this entry is a nice try.

Well ... I was not confused, since jams on itch.io are normally game-only jams. I did this just for fun ๐Ÿ˜œ and because I want to have an easy-to-use and free BASIC to JavaScript compiler for future jams. Maybe I can get it to that stage before #4 begins?

Hi!!!!!!

I want to have an easy-to-use and free BASIC to JavaScript compiler for future jams. <---- Excellent plan. It is an amazing project! Well done!!!!

Maybe I can get it to that stage before #4 begins? <---- The BASIC jam #4 should be from 1 Mar - 31 Mar 2023.

Interesting concept. Not sure I really know what I'm doing so tried adjusting some settings and think it worked? Hard to accurately rate this compared to other submissions, but in terms of potential usefulness, this is definitely the winner. Good luck to meeting your goals as you keep working on this one!

GAMEPLAY:  1 / 5
Kinda hard to judge gameplay on an IDE so I just looked at the idea of "Does it work?" But apart from the default program it came with, I couldn't get any code to run which was a huge disappointment. It's entirely possible I'm doing something wrong, but I loaded in several BASIC programs and they all got error messages.

CREATIVITY: 4 / 5

I would LOVE to see more BASIC games that are playable in browser or converted to other programming languages, so you get high marks for attempting the concept.

GRAPHICS/SOUND/POLISH: 2 / 5

Your default BASIC IDE setup and only a couple of options in the menus.

INTERPRETATION OF THEME AND COMPLETENESS: 3 / 5

This could be powerful but it doesn't seem to be quite there yet since I wasn't able to get anything except the default program to work.

Well ... I didn't supply any examples or documentation since I ran out of time. I will add that.
Thanks for the surprisingly high score you gave it nonetheless!
