great game! i liked the idea and the art! i recommend to add some sound effects it can improve a lot the experince
Very cool, pretty impressive for the time frame you had. I like that the you displayed what was on the burger you were building at the bottom of the screen. I think some chopping and sizzling sound effects would go a really long way to make the cooking satisfying, and it's a little difficult to tell what you're carrying, but great job!
Thank you for the comment and for playing!
decent game, but no variation in the burgers as far as I played. An improvement that could be made woold be to add a scoring system.
This is a cool concept! But there are some issues: I couldn't move in multiple directions, e.g: I couldn't use 'e' and 'd' at the same time (but this is a minor nitpick). I also couldn't deliver the burgers.
Love the music, there is stuff that definitively could be improved and worked on, but it is an enjoyable and fun game!
very cool man! Love the soundtrack too!
Great beginner game. I love the sound track. A lot of improvement to be done.
yeah, I could improve so many things but I ran out of time :( I think we overscoped. Thanks for playing!
Your welcome! But that's why I love this jam. I learn so much with people that are in my level, and it's actually competitive because there aren't that many people who are like pro coders that can code GTA in a week (fun fact: there is someone who did it in this jam).
It's really interesting idea and music reminds me of Spongebob (XD) But either I'm a little dumb or smth doesn't work on my end but I tried several times and I couldn't get the order to the customer. It looks like I did everything but I can't pick up a finished burger to bring to the customer. Kinda confused in orders of preparing.
it sucks that you couldn't deliver the burgers :( I'll check if I broke something, but thanks for playing!
Fun idea for a game. The art is good where you've finished it and the music is nice :)
thanks!
Great design of the robot and super catchy music. I could see this being really fun as a split screen game with a friend!
Thanks for playing!
I'm really dumb and also can't read a single page of text and memorize it, so I didn't really knew how to play if I skipped the text wall. I love the kinda overcooked idea, but something like a simple tutorial or per level design would've fitted this much better. Still, that would've been a lot of work. Still someone might have a better time than me playing it, I would work on the controls and the tutorials/introduction first, for people dumb like me lmao.
Yeah, there's a lot of room for improvement in the tutorial, I will keep that in mind for future jams!
Music is great, and the idea is lovely! I struggled to tell when was in my hand, and what burgers I had made. I also couldn't feed the customers. I got very confused, and had to read the tutorial wall of text again. Still don't understand what I'm doing wrong, but had fun anyway!
Thanks! Yes, the tutorial was made the very last day and there are some sprites missing so it's confusing sometimes but I'm glad you had fun playing :)
This game must have been very hard to program, it's pretty cool, the controls are hard but you get used to it
Thanks for playing! It was a headache to program most of the actions...
