congrats on nr 1 on the game jam!

Wow what a beautiful game! The soundtrack and the enemies, I can see the nostalgia elements in the game art style like gameboy collor, the helmet guy really surprised. I liked the game difficulty too, made it really challenging and fun! Nailed!

Can't find much of anything to complain about. Every aspect of this game works very well!

Wow, from the beginning to the end it just catched me! Awesome game-mechanics and really great music and story. Love it!

Love the art, the gameplay and I am amazed at how polished it already is for this short timeframe! 

Very aesthetic game. I always have loved the animation of robes in 2d games. I also laughed out loud where on lvl 1 the last enemy had an AI to follow me. Didn't expect that.

I'm wowed! This is great for a jam entry. You can clearly see that a lot of effort and love has been put into it; the graphics and the great music design are a testament to that.I like the story element and how you incorporated the theme into the game. If I'm not mistaken, not only is the game taking place in nostalgia land but it is also trying to refer back to classic games such as Mario and Megaman. Kudos for going above and beyond. Great job! :D

NGL when the camera first panned over the entire first level I said Holy Crap! out loud, the entire game looks absolutely amazing! The story is nice too!

I did find a bug where I could throw a watermelon to a wall and it would stick, and another bug where I could fall and just be stuck there

But overall it's Very impressive and I hope to see more from you guys in the future. Cheers!

love the style. i'm usually not a big fan op pixel-art, but this is really well done. great soundtrack as well. Also a big fan of the subtle "tutorial" at the start

i understand a lot of time went into developing the content, but just a little more love for the UI would have made a big difference. The font really clashes with the rest of the content, which is too bad, because it's an easy fix.

Great effort though! Keep it up.

My favorite game here! I love the art style, and the story behind it. OST was well made to. My only complaint was that the tetraman bossfight was kind of buggy. Overall great job.
