I like how you took the runner-style games and game it a big middle finger. I loved the vibe of the game, neon and techno strangely fit the themes of Sisyphus. Definitely refreshing from the stone papyrus aesthetic. Little glitchy but I can get over that, but I would have loved to see a dramatic animation of Sisyphus and the boulder rolling back to the beginning!
I love "key following" games.
You found a really nice cohesive mechanic between the original myth and the gameplay. That's always a win-win for me.
Good job!
A really nice meditative game. Some might find the boulder to be slow but I think that was intentional, as it allowed me to contemplate the quotes at the side (which were quite deep). The animation and aesthetics were really good, and the audio definitely added to the surreality you were going for.
There was a graphical glitch that kept annoying me though, the guy kept teleporting backwards as he walked.
Nicely executed. I was hoping that it would speed up gradually and turn into some manic dodging game but it didn't so I lost interest then. I could not tell if a human did the voicing or if they were computer generated which is a compliment either way.
