It's unfortunate that you didn't have as much time as you needed to spend on this because the visuals look awesome! I'd love to play a creepy exploration game with this aesthetic :P

Laughed out loud when those murder-hornets stole my plants. Hitting them was a bit frustrating, but overall I loved the vibe.

Very cool look to the game. The occasional sounds when the bees appeared made me feel like that the bees were a normal part of life that I had to accept. I agree with the BagelMaster that the bullets travel too slow, and that it is near impossible to defeat a bee once it has started flying away with a plant.

Also I could not figure out how to go to a next level. Do I need to save all the plants to do that? I kept getting a Game Over screen when the time/bonus score ran out.

I realize I glossed over the game description and saw that you had described it in there.
Thank you for telling me. I played the levels of your game and found them fun but repetitive. I stopped after beating level 20.

Really cool aesthetic! I'm a big fan of seizure-inducing games. Glad you submitted!

Some things that I'd say could use improvement are the gun projectiles travelling too slow (I found it very hard to hit the bees) and the lack of new mechanics introduced in levels. I'm also not a fan of the game restarting to level 1 after losing a level, but it seems like that's part of the arcade inspiration.

My high score's level 8

Love the art style here and it's a great use of the palette. I think the mechanics could be developed more to tie it in with the pop surrealism of the environment.
