Cool little game à la Overcooked 😄

GAMEPLAY
Fun gameplay involving the combination of elements to create vials. The difficulty level wasn’t too hard. It took a moment to get the hang of how everything worked, but then it went smoothly. I also liked the upgrades, and I enjoy NileRed videos too.

ART STYLE / VISUALS
The self-,made graphics were cute and coherent, fitting well with the game's overall style.

AUDIO / SOUND DESIGN
The audio was appropriate for the gameplay, enhancing the experience.

INNOVATION
The game was not very innovative in terms of mechanics or concept.

THEME
The theme was lightly touched upon.

Overall a job well done. Keep going like this with your next projects.💪

Very nice game! I like the visuals and sfx. I don't know if all the upgrades are really relevant since the stations are already so fast. I just had to buy the "more stations" upgrade and I almost didn't have to wait for anything. But overall it was pretty fun :)

Developer

Wow, I never thought to play the game while asking what’s the least amount of upgrades needed to successfully complete it.

Thanks for playing!

Nice game the art style is very coherent and cute, finished with only a few seconds remaining so I guess you nailed the difficulty, the pop sounds are nice. One external thing is that I would reccomend exporting your game without embeding the PCK and upload a zip folder to itch, that way windows detects the author and the defender doesnt pop in.

Ah, I was considering that, but when the Web build failed last minute (with crackling audio), I decided to upload the files like this.

I’m personally not a fan of extracting zip files all the time during game jams. Then again, I guess that’s why we have the itch client.

Charming art and pretty fun, Overcooked-style gameplay, though I don't know how well it fits the theme. Not sure if the view count is just randomized after getting 13 vials as I got 22 mil the first time and 21 the second, or if it's based on time or something else. Also wasn't really sure what the double vials upgrade did, and the extra supplies upgrade doesn't really help that much. Maybe if the process times for each device took longer, but as is even without the upgrade there isn't much time to grab materials and have another one cooking. I can easily see this being expanded upon with more upgrades, processes, and things to make, like grape soda perhaps?

Developer

I’m loving all the NileRed references here in the comments.

Yes, the the view count is randomize. Good guess. There’s two endings, one in which your video gets 2-10 views and another where your video gets 20-23 million (I believe those are the numbers I coded in).

Thanks for your feedback.

Sad I can’t make a really bad cookie while I’m at it! Cute art :)

Developer

It would indeed be interesting to create a full NileRed fan game with all of this creations.

I got to 22 mil!!! I loved this game and I love Nilered, absolutely fun and cute and great interpretation of the prompt word! Would love to see even more crazy features to juggle, I love upgrades you put upgrade in front of me I grind for them!!

Developer

Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed this little fan game, I didn’t want to overwhelm the player with too many things to juggle now!

A sticky game, it will be cool if there are more elements for management. The visual is cool

Developer

I’m glad you liked it.
