I'm extremely impressed by the work you did on this game in such a short amount of time. From the aurora effect outside, to the chiseling/voxel mechanic and implementation, to the cool shader on the vapor balls. Well done! So cool!

Developer

Thank you very much!

Super cool concepts, and great implementation! You've got both destructible "terrain" and flowing gases. Just felt so good to break the ice, the combination of the motion, the destruction, sound and hapics. Great job!

Developer

Thank you!

Great use of VR, could use a little more precision in chipping things, I always made shapes too rough and the gas got stuck. But excellent execution on the theme!

Developer

Thank you! The imprecise brush was a sacrifice for the algorithm that destroys floating chunks, but not a great one I'm aware. Thanks again!

Nice attention to detail - the cracks across the surface were a nice touch, as was the display out the window!

The aurora borealis was actually the very last thing I added, surprised it was even noticed at all. Thank you!

Great concept! I like how detailed you can chisel the ice block. I would reduce the haptic force a bit, but other than that it's great!

Developer

Thank you! I actually thought the haptics were too weak on my Index controllers, maybe OpenXR doesn't normalize haptic strength across devices? Thanks again!

Very polished, the game has nice SFX, haptics and intuitive controls. My only nit pick is when I put the chisel too deep it doesn't register (no red circle), not sure if it's intentional (to make sure the user is carving from the surface?) or not.

Developer

That is indeed intentional, but only because it was too late to try to physically stop the chisel in place on contact, so it could've definitely been improved had the foundations been better. Thank you!

Really cool! Super smooth and really fun goin' at the ice. Nice work!

Developer

Thank you!
