I wish I did a vid for this becuase this was really funny. Controls stick a little but overall, great!

The very basics are here, but overall it feels very rough, with imprecise controls and spongy physics. I you nail these, I think you can have a fun game!

The game is hampered by its controls. I couldn't figure out until the lizard stage why jumping was so unresponsive, and having the character bounce after they land makes no sense. Being able to land on top of the evolution points is also confusing.

The idea is interesting, but the execution is flawed. You're supposed to be evolving, but going from a fish to a frog to a lizard to a rat to a dog to a human makes no sense at all.

I don't want to be mean, or discourage you from game development, but this game needs a lot of work. Good luck in your future endeavors!

I did it, I won!

The art had a very funny style and I think it carried the game a lot. I am sure there is a gamedev-fire burning within you but this game sadly doesn't go the whole way in showing that.

Some issues I found, the evolution-pellets sometimes collide with the player - I often found myself standing on them without picking them up.

The jumping felt a bit unintuitive but once I figured out that you have to wait for the player to stop bouncing it became a lot easier. I think the bouncing mechanic detracts from the ease of movement the game could have had.

Overall... A step in the right direction! Good effort, finishing a jam is something to be proud of.
