Game Description
When you wanted to compose music, but ended up without a programmer, though someone... still has to make the game...
How does your game tie into the theme?
“Ascend a mysterious tower where nature and technology intertwine. Grow plants to forge your path upward, but beware your own creations may block your way. Adapt and harness the power of the ever-rising force below. Will you reach the top before the tower consumes you?” (or so was the idea...)

The camera control is really nice!
Sorry to hear you couldn’t find a programmer. Usually the discord’s #team-up channel has a tonne floating around looking for artists of various kinds
Would have been nice to see controls somewhere.
Finally: I managed to jump out the start level on the right! Wooooo
The game looks gorgeous, it's a shame it did not come about :(
I tried to play it a couple times, altough, it took a couple minutes to understand that I needed to press "E" to get in the first level, then, I couldn't understand how and where to climb, it seems like the character hang on the vines, but it also hanged on "nothing". After climbing a bit, i've been sent back to the beginning, bug or intended ?
The graphics of the game looked great and the music was really nice !
Ye, the “game’s” tutorial design is as poorly designed as possible, and you’ve been sent back to the hub location since your health was depleted, what about the great bits, our team consisted of a Composer (Dmix) and a 3D Artist (Aa44), and the others (featured in the credits behind the tower), who I frequently asked for help with programming.
Anyway, glad you checked out out prototype..!
P.S.
I played your game too, it was smaller than I expected, also got my highest score without drawing anything .>.👍
Though it works which is already amazing to me, keep it up.
I'm really glad I played it ! Making a 3d game in a week is already a huge feat, having great graphics and great music is also an incredible success, i really hope you dont consider this game a failure because you still consider it a prototype, by no mean is this not a great entry for the game jam and hope my review didn't made you think that this is less a game than other entry because this is not the case. Sorry if I made you think that this wasn't a great game, english is not my first language.
Also, thank you for playing our game =) we're glad to have released it in time for the game jam. Our initial idea was way longer and included a upgrade system and a highscore board,
but these ideas were scrapped because we didn't had enough time and we wanted to polish other aspect of the game before releasing it.
I hope to see other work from your team =)
the game world looks great, the transition from the start screen to the gameplay is cool, the credits in the beginning of the level are a nice touch.
the controls however feel very bad, it took me a while before i realized that i had to press E to enter the door.
Whenever i got to a certain points in the climbing section, the game would port me back down to the beginning, no idea if its a bug or if im doing something wrong ...
Well, the game is obviously not polished enough to be played, I’m glad you tried though, about that issue where you get transferred, back to the hub location, it’s because your health bar is depleted, although it doesn’t work correctly after being depleted once you can still see it in the top left corner of the window…
P.S.
Btw, I played the game you’ve submitted, it was bigger than I expected for such a short period of time, I spent more than 20 minutes placing blocks around it and it was a great experience, though I wish there was an undo option, also the way the “tutorial” leads into the gameplay feels really smooth, yet, it’s gameplay already, good luck reaching top 30..!
I tried to run the linux build but it looks like you forgot to include the pck file? Or have I missed something here, and there is a way to run this?
Oh, My bad... I didn't knew what files are what, so I just threw everything thogether... the windows build should work now, and if you need the .pck file only you can download the "MacOS build"... which only has the .pck file itself since I thought that's what MacOS reads .>
