Game Description
You're a small fish-folk, weak and slow. To overcome your frustrations and weaknesses, you decide to eat everything you see to get big.
How does your game tie into the theme?
When you feed, you gain the ability to metamorphose. With the new stage you become faster and can eat a wider variety of food.

I loved all the varied artwork, and the controls were nice and smooth (I enjoyed trying to finally eat dragonflies). Nicely done.
There seemed to be some sort of control/camera fighting a couple times when I returned to the huts, but it would go away once I was within their radius.
I will investigate this behavior of the camera control. Thanks for the report!
Very nice experience! :D Everything felt smooth and I liked the movement a lot :) Well done, I would like to try an extended version!
I think I need to make a whole game now.
Really cool! I was quite impressed with the swimming, and I liked how the camera locked onto the fire when you were full. The only suggestion I have is that it was so short! I barely explored the area around the fire and evolved enough to finish :P
Nice work! :D
Thanks for the feedback! I pointed the camera towards the fire when necessary to show the current objective of the game, avoiding breaking the immersion and show instructions texts. A long game about grinding for food could be boring, but I couldn't find a good balance in time, so and it became too short.
The fish guy is cool looking, i enjoyed the eating animation :D
Getting big enough to really go ham swimming and launching myself into the air is great, the game needs more water and interesting water controls, i'd love that.
Thanks for the feedback! I had a lot of ideas for the game, but I prioritized getting the game mechanics and animations as polished as possible for the jam submission.
Thanks for playing!
Fun game! I'm really impressed by how smoothly the camera works. It feels great to move around without having to worry about camera movement! I'm a big fan of the low-poly graphics too, so that was a nice bonus :)
Nice to know that the camera assistant helps (it was the last feature implemented, and I'm glad I did it).
I really enjoyed the music and sounds! I think it's impressive how fluid you were able to make the swimming feel! Nice game
I'm glad you liked the swimming mechanic! It took a while to implement, but it couldn't be missing (after all, you control a fish-people)
The camera made me a little dizzy but the evolutions were cute. I liked the music and the colorful fire. Great job for a first game jam and with 3D!
Thanks for your feedback, it means a lot to me.
