This had a lot of charm so I actually tried several times and learned some things along the way.  I found the backpack nearly at the end, and had been confused by the other items, having a hit like "I supposed I should have given you something to carry that, oh well...".  It would have been nice for the arrow to point to the closest shrine instead of the last one you contacted, I had two left but couldn't get away fast enough.   I still had a surprising amount of fun and love the animation.

Great idea with the voice acting - it adds originality to your game! :)

Was a fun idea we had about halfway through, realistically this is a glorified walking simulator, but it definitely adds charm and purpose to playing. Thanks so much for playing!

Wow! What wonderful voice acting! (or maybe you prefer “voice acting”)

Developer

This game jam game has... voice acting...? And it is... actually very impressive...?

I loved the visuals and I think you did a great job overall. The voice acting was a very welcome surprise and the writting is verry funny. Kuddos!

Thanks for playing! I don’t know if it’s voice acting or just me being a goober on a microphone ahahah. Wish I had time to throw in volume options but I’m happy with what we managed to get done. Appreciate the comment =D

I hereby give you permission to call it voice acting. The intonations and wizardness are on point sir!

Would have loved a volume control, the sound was a bit loud but other than that I really enjoyed this game… the duck animation was perfect and walking around quacking was a blast. The voice acting was also super fun to have.

Thanks for giving it a shot! I think I’ll get an options menu going first thing next game jam, it always gets left off >_<
