This is incredily well fleshed out and the art is really cool.

Great job!

Super awesome concept, and I love the art and music! The controls make sense, and there's a whole lot of content here. My main problem is that it's just too hard. There's not enough time to set up turrets and fighters before high-level mechs start coming in, so I never get access to all the features you implemented. I think having more time before the first wave and having the first few waves be lower level mechs would greatly improve the play experience. Nice work though! I would totally play a full release of this.

The style of this game slaps!

I found the controls to be a bit difficult for me, but it's been years since I've played an RTS, so I'm probably not the best use case! Amazing that you got so much going in such a short period of time!

Hey, I really love the aesthetic of this game! I love the retro-3D graphics and the idea of an RTS Kaiju game is really cool! I like the look of this biomass world as well as the look of the units.
Though I did encounter a bug in which the sentry started shooting and killing my own builders and after I hit a game over, I started a new game but the builders from my previous run is still there. But besides that, good job on the jam!

Developer

thank you, im glad to hear that you liked the art! the turret's friendly fire is actually intentional. we did a bad job explaining some mechanics but the turret attacks everything in its range, one of the unintended consequences of our game.

I only download games via app and my Itch app tells me that no compatible version was found. I have Win10, so I don't understand the problem.

Developer(+1)

i dont know why that happens, we've had friends download the game from the webpage and have had no issues. im very sorry to hear that, ill let my programmer friends know

An ambitious project for a jam. The art style is cool in a retro way and I like the pixelized textures and the animated buildings. It is very difficult though and somehow I could only build the sawmill and the bone quarry. I stood no chance against the attackers.

Developer

thanks for checking out the game! im sorry to hear about your experience. admittedly we did very little playtesting in our game. we especially arent happy with how we did the unit prices at the time of submission, definitely contributes to the lopsided difficulty.

I liked the tutorial, but after that, there was still a sudden spike in information when I started the game. A difficulty setting would be cool I think.

ye we really wanted to expand on the tutorial but couldn't with the time we had. big feature creep on our end, for sure needed more playtesting. thanks for checking out our game!!
