Nicely done.
Only issue I had was that the listed gamepad controls didn’t seem to work correctly.
I could not select any menu entries with my xbox controller, navigation worked fine.

Great job! It took me a while to figure out how to counter the enemies, but it's fun when you get the hang of it :)
I liked it! The fact that I can decide to leave a level at any moment allows me to weigh up if I want to fight what's on screen which adds to the gameplay quite a bit
At first it was kinda complicated but when i get a hang of the game it was quiet fun. More interesting than fun tho. Its a very original take. of course there are things that coulb be different or better like graphics for me . but in general its a nice entry
Very nice game! Took me a little bit to get the hang of, but I enjoyed the random levels and trying to figure out the best way to deal with the creatures one by one, or if the available food/health would even be worth the risk. The difficulty is definitely a little bit harsh, I think if the player could also attack diagonally like the parasites can, it may be a lot easier to get that first strike in. Still had fun playing it though, managed to get to day 9 with a couple tries. Also great work on the silly mode, the music really caught me off guard. Nice one!
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked the core idea, I definitely would agree the difficulty is a bit much. I think I need to fix the diagonal attacks and then maybe curve out enemy spawns a bit better so there aren't so many right off the bat. Glad you liked the silly mode too, I had a lot of fun picking out a track for that.
I survived 4 days! This was an interested concept but I found the movement a little awkward and it seemed like I was getting attacked diagonally? I was also thrown off by the medkit sound apparently being the same as the injury sound.
The story and setting were neat, though, and I liked a lot of art, gave it a very NES/GB vibe. The silly mode was a fun touch, too.
Nice job!
Thanks for playing! The medkit sound is one of the first things on my list to fix for a post-jam update. By the time I noticed that, I had so little time left I didn't get a chance to fix it. The diagonal attack wasn't originally intended so that is something I'm going to have to take a crack at as well. There is probably a really simple solution to it, just needed more time to think on how I wanted the AI to work. I'm glad you liked the silly mode, definitely had fun throwing that together.
Cool idea.
"You survived 0 days."
I guess I'm bad at rochambo tactics games.
Maybe needs an easier onboarding.
Cool little survival game, I don't think I'm particularly good at it though
