Enjoyed finding my way through the maze. Didn't quite understand the red squares. I didn't recognize the sound effect when they ran into me and the only consequence seemed to be getting slowed down. Regardless, I made it though 12 of the mazes. :) Nice job!

Very nice game. By the way my game is also about maze escape but with a horror feel. I like the music most, it was very amazing. Level design and path finding is also very good.

Thanks for playing and glad you liked the music. Unfortunately I did not make it, should have given credit to ripoof. I will try out your maze game.

Nice path navigation, wasn't sure if there was any risk in the game.

Got stopped by one of the red squares but nothing happened

Thanks for playing and glad you like the path navigation, actually did it myself as I did not want to have problems with getting stuck on the walls (this is the problem I have had using Godot's native one. If it is a true maze it is easy to setup a dictionary path for each square and then you can use that to quickly connect any two tiles.

Easy and Medium both have the enemies freeze you, the top difficulty has them kill you.

I really love mazes and maze generation so I was excited to see this game. I liked the chasers as a mechanic and I think it was an interesting choice to not have them kill you. What maze generation technique did you use? This page has some really cool visualizations of some different techiques.

Thanks for playing. The top difficulty makes them kill you. Wanted to make the lower difficulties for more casual gamers.
I did all the algorithms myself on the fly - basically setup all the all odds squares as open then removed walls until there are no walls to remove with out creating a loop.
I will take a look at the links sure this method is described there, thanks for sharing.
