nice vibe and great sound work. the text scroll it frustratingly slow!

Thank you for enjoying, I realized to late that I definitely should have done the text scroll by character instead of percent visible so I could increase the speed without it skipping characters.

The sound effects really elevates the horror vibes going on in the hotel.

Also, would love to know the song you used at the start of the game 😅

Thank you for enjoying my game, the song is "Study" buy Chillmore on Pixabay

That also reminds me that I needed to add credits to the page.

Short interactive experience. Very basic.

All the pieces fit together, so I do believe that this is a competent piece, it's just not much of one.

Shoot higher, and come back in January.

P.S. No, staring at me through the peep hole won't change my mind, stop crying.

I definitely wanted to add more scares, there is even a cut part of the game that would make trash relevant. I am probably going to take the next jam off just so I can work on this a bit more because I am really proud of how it has turned out so far and would like to make it even better.

I would advise against this. You learn a lot more working under the pressure of the 9 day jam cycle. It may help you more to jump onto a team, and have this as a side project.

Very complete for a short game. The history is captivating

Developer

Thank you for playing, this is definitely the most complete game I've made by myself and I hope to add more to it in the future.

Really gave me horror movie feelings while going back to the first floor, the colors are nice and the floor that have the open window sounds great. Good job!

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Interesting game, though I was hoping for something more.. It wasn't very rewarding going around lighting the lights. I thought there was something going on with the windows, not sure - maybe I missed that? And I didn't really understand the purpose of the door numbers and the locked doors - maybe that's something you plan to build on. Not sure what the one particular door with the animation was supposed to be either...

Thank you for playing my game. I definitely would have liked a bit more time to work on the game, there where supposed to be bedrooms and a bit more to explore and I would like to add those after the jam ends.

Interesting concept! Would like to know the full story :)

Thank you. I wanted to add a few more scares and rooms to the hotel but ended up running out of time.
