Wow! The game was extremely well done and the intro was great. Congratulations!
I don't know if I missed something, but sometimes I felt a little lost, so I don't know if I found all the checkpoints. Maybe a counter or a little message saying (3 of 5) or something?

Cool idea! Although I felt a bit lost in the end, I guess thats part of the story, it worked out fine. It was refreshing to see the use of videos in the game, also the voice-over was pretty nice!

Very immersive. the placeholder art for some of the elements does take me out of the moment a little bit.

The music and voice over add a lot to this. I want to know more about this world, and how it came to be this way

Very impressive entry.

A beautiful game, a tiny story extremely good told, the kind voice narrating everything while you playing it gives some strange vibe about being lonely in the snow but not completely. The game is good, i always focus in the gameplay, and not really like the "walking simulator effect" that comes with the lack of gamemechanic, but this time i think the story is the protagonist, and this gameplay of wandering arround it is like a bus you get on and travel with it.

The main menu and the videos give's just the touch!

Amazing sumission, i love it!

This is how to tell little cute stories!

Normally I hate story games pretty much but with such a immersive presentation stories become alive and I really see from jam to jam how this gets better and better.

The visuals, the audio everything is fitting together pretty well. Only sad the assets didn’t made it to the end.

This is a very strong contender! The atmosphere and the testimony come together to tell the dark story of a clan that struggles to survive the winter.

Although I did struggle, I eventually found my way to the end.

The "Warmth" stat doesn't seem to affect anything, though. The bonfires and save points just guide you along a path.

That said, I honestly expect this one to be an award winner. Not necessarily top prize, but you'll be #1 in here somewhere.

Very good looking and good sounding game! I found the gameplay itself a bit confusing. When the game ended I was caught off guard as I was about half sure I had accidentally wandered out of bounds at some point.

The atmosphere this game creates is awsome. the voice acting is surpisingly good too. My only issue with this game is that the map is too big, so is easy to get lost (I did). Aside from that,  this is surely a good game and one of my favourites in the Jam.

Developer

thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed my daughter's acting!

This main menu looks so good, with the fire sound aswell. Voice acting in jam games always surprise me, even tracks in the snow, lots of detail and polish for 9 days. Good job!

Ecstatic you enjoyed. Thank you the kind comments!

Interesting use of images and videos in the game. Dialog was bit overwhelmed by the sounds.

Interesting experience. Well done. I was actually glad that cold capped at 5% so i could finish the story. Also like flat top down view, like from RPG maps.

Thanks, keep it up

Interesting experience - gameplay wise it wasn't very challenging, but I did enjoy the added voice acting and the story, and the serene music. It was easy to get a bit lost, maybe that could be addressed. Also loved the added cinematics and the unique feel of the menu!

I really like games that tells good stories, and I bet this one would tell something really nice!

Although it's unfinished, you guys really did something here. If you allow me to, I'd like to share some toughts about it:

I really got a little bit lost on the map. Well I know it is a snowstorm and maybe it's also the idea behind the game, but I think you could have used some clues to make the main path more clear to the player;

- It took me a second run to figure how things worked. I think the interactibles should look more... interactible haha maybe a different mouse hover would be enough or some kind of shimmer effect;

- Anyways I think the game really fits the theme, and presented a reall interesting implementation of the wildcards.

I really like the looks of the game, and also the sound design, the bgm is really nice and got so much impressed by the speeches being narreted besides of the subtitles.

thanks for playing - I appreciate the thoughtful response. You're absolutely right that this is a work in progress but happy to hear you got something out of it!
