Nice artwork and outstanding transitions. Changing the map felt very smooth :)

Quite difficult, but charming. It has a Zelda feel to it. The font should stand out a bit more to be more readable, even in full screen mode it is hard to read.

Nice music and graphics.

This is really cool! There's a lot here, you can tell you all put a lot of work into it!

It's definitely hard lol. Overall, I think the enemies are just too fast (at least compared to the player), so it feels pretty difficult to avoid damage a lot of the time, especially right when you start the game.

Cool little game! Had some trouble with it, but that's to be expected I think. Here's a tip for future submissions:

If you continue to use Godot 3.5.x for 2D games, make sure you turn on Use GPU Pixel Snap in the 2D rendering settings in your project settings. Not having this is what caused your TileMaps to not have perfect alignment, and occasionally got what looked like separated tiles.

That's pretty much it! I have nothing others haven't already said, so good work and I can definitely say we all hope you continue submitting games to the jam! This game has a ton of potential.

i love the ambition and amount of systems put into this game! I'm very impressed by the scope and execution. A lot of enemy types, satisfying machine gun attacks, I like the shopkeeper graphics.

As others mentioned, it was a little too difficult. Maybe in this case, less enemies but more balanced combat loop would have caught my attention longer :)

Very nice work though! The music had me feel like I was stuck in an endless dream/nightmare, constantly ascending and descending. I like the concept of enemies being created out of the dream world!

We definitely went over scoped (evidently from the lack of a main menu) for this one as it was our first jam :P. I probably should have put the credits in the description but all the BGM are from https://xdeviruchi.itch.io/8-bit-fantasy-adventure-music-pack

Very challenging. Couldn't beat any screens. I like the art and music was nice. Transition turned out great, thanks for sharing!

Thanks for playing :D

Is this really hard, or is it just me? The mobs school me pretty fast. I like the gunplay and the procedural levels though.

haha, it's not just you. It's hard for me too. Guess that's what happens when you leave balancing to the last minute
