the art is great and the movement feels really polished, but the fact that only like, 20% of the game uses what you'd think is its main mechanic, and the rest is mostly just somewhat superfluous-feeling coin collecting, the game feels like it has a pretty heavy lack of focus, and also the fact that bonking into the ceiling stuns you for like 2 seconds is just extremely infuriating. the lack of sound effects also makes the game feel pretty empty, but the music is actually pretty nice.

I didn't have time to add sound effects, but the game will have them soon.
As for the mechanics of hitting the ceiling, it is to differentiate it from other platform games and add something new to the genre. This adds extra difficulty and "forces" the player to be more precise when jumping.
Really like the retro feel, the gameplay was fun but a bit confusing at the beginning. I thought I had to hit the coins with the ball and it was close to impossible :)
The one thing that annoyed me was that it triggers auto full screen. Would like to have the option to trigger that manually instead. Because if you exit full screen, at loading it will auto pull you back into full screen.
Incredible! What an amazing entry. The art style is fantastic. I loved the sparing use of color against the kind of 1-bit black/white art. I loved the CRT effect. Once I understood why the head bonking mechanic mattered it brought new meaning to the feeling of the jump which felt really nice. I think the difficulty level was nice.
I will say it was a bit heartbreaking to die right before getting your final coin and then having to start all over, but overall this was just a beautiful submission. Great job.
Great game! Loved the art, the sound, the concept... The ball mechanic is a little hard to get, maybe could have the option to reset to its original position to when people like me kick on the wrong direction. ^^' But really nice game, congrats!
I loved the game, Soccer is my favorite sport so you instantly hooked me. The shader was beautiful and I would love to know how you did it!
