Wow, this game is great! I like how it plays and the mechanics were enough to keep you frantically moving but well paced so that you're not completely overwhelmed. The enemies giving feedback to your actions is particularly great and the atmosphere is wonderful! My only complaint is that when I lost the first time, I wasn't entirely sure if it was a loss until I played it again and won. But the lore triggering when you take damage is a nice touch, certainly helps being told outright what got you so then you can look them up in the book. Overall a great experience!
What a polished game. Congrats!
I loved the narration and the accessibility settings. And the Lovecraftian ambiance!
If there is such thing as a fnaf-like, this hits the spot perfectly. That was so fun and original, so much depth to the gameplay with all the kinds of monsters, you could make this into a whole game and I'd buy it!
Very cool! I'm not sure I understood the game-play correctly, but it was fun nonetheless, especially because of the atmosphere you created using the sounds and voice acting. The creatures also look cool. I think the aim of the game and how to play it could've been communicated a little more clearly. Well done, 3D games are scary to me and you did great.
Thank you for your feedback! Glad you enjoyed the atmosphere.
I agree, how the game is supposed to be played is pretty unclear. Depending on RNG, you could quickly loose a life before you figured out where to look and which tools you have. I added some instructions to the games description, which hopefully will help other players.
Such a neat game! I really love the act of flicking through the book, frantically trying to find the notes on the monsters that are at my door. Was such a great feeling making it through the night. Thank you!
