The art style and presentation is superb! You'll want a slick mouse for beating this one

Wow!! This is super creative! Great presentation and the songs made me laugh! But my word they are a very fickle radio audience!  You can lose that audience so fast it gives a sense of mild panic at all times! I feel empathy all of a sudden for radio show hosts!

Only critique would be the moment of silence. I went from 1500 audience to 0 in 3 seconds and was so confused when I lost. 2nd time I knew it was coming and still lost 3/4 of my audience to it just cause of the bit of transition into and out of the event status. The event itself is really funny and a great shakeup! I'd just recommend giving some more buffer to react on that one.

Very impressive! This felt like a fully fledged game one would find on the Nintendo E-shop. The color swapping mechanic is super, and then you've got some really nice enemy variety! Then all the upgrades feel great, and the animations and sound effects, just fantastic stuff! It all really makes you feel like a penguin in a musical war.

Unfortunately got OOM and game crashed on wave 29, but that's what I get for playing the web build.

Fun!/5

I love the walking fur guys and the gameplay loop is nice!

Thanks! The boss was made using a video stream that changes out videos playing. The hit detection checks for pixel color at the position of the object in relation to the video pixel at the same position to determine a hit. So the boss shape and attack patterns can get as crazy as you want to make them!

Ho ho ho! This is a good game, what a gift! Loved the serious jingly bell music, and the graphics were great! Really liked the mechanic that when you got caught you had the chance to stop the kid or just try and beeline it for the objective, not having it be just instant fail was a real nice choice! And since the floor is absolutely covered in bear traps and legos, it makes it so neither choice is trivial. Great stuff!

Mr.Soapy is bubbling over with charm! The game is as polished as a finely cleaned dish!

Reject automation, reject convenience, choose Mr. Soapy!

I love the art and aesthetics! The bizzarro ring talking to you and then becoming Exclamation/question marks, that was cool, like talking to a claymation Clippy! And then the game was quite fun, having all the tracks come at you makes it more like a management game, I liked that!

Only complaint would be for me the 2nd and 3rd third level completed way faster than the first. I didn't even get 10 moves in on the 3rd level. Maybe I just got lucky with powerups, not really sure. Final time 02:35. Also, the first level music was fantastic it set a nice vibe!

Nice work, love the little Octopus guy! I really liked the pizza movement, getting a dash jump into a mid air dash felt great in the tutorial, I wish it was available more in the rest of the game! Having the pulsing head when you had full sticky jump was very helpful.

A character builder in a game jam, whaaat? The music is awesome too! Great stuff!

Really liked the platforming, and the presentation is awesome! Would love to see more levels!

Great controls! Tried to reduce my time by running into the obstacles to teleport after flipping the switches in the further parts of the map but still could not get to 30 secs. Looking forward to more levels!

THIS MADE ME LAUGH SO HARD I LOVED THE VOICE OVER! You won't take me back to the testing chambers!

THIS MADE ME LAUGH SO HARD I LOVED THE VOICE OVER! You won't take me back to the testing chambers!

Very well done! Great presentation and music! I really like the movement system, it's challenging enough that those moments where you're really gunning it feel awesome! Putting the ice-rimmed lake in the center was a real nice risk-reward setup too. Also the music changing during the fog, that's slick!

I put in the auxiliary lever and I clicked it too many times trying to ward off the hand. Though looks like that's a known bug. Great sound effects, adds a nice touch! :-D

Fantastic game! Having to protect yourself against dull conversation is just a really funny concept, but you nailed the execution! And then the boss just sends it over the top with the evil music and the transition into the final attack, oh that was so good!

Very Fun! Reminds me of good ol' addicting games. The presentation is very nice and I love that the levels are short and sweet. Only complain is it could be hard to find the end of some levels, some arrows or a larger FOV would be nice. Just throwing myself off every cliff I can think of looking for the end! :-D But the levels are short enough it's not much an issue. I 100% it, cause the platforming was Slick and the difficulty curve was super!

This is a genre defining game! I played unil my computer wouldnt let me anymore. 5/5

This game oozes style, I really enjoyed the mix of a bit of 3D platforming.

This game needs so many more people to play it. Its extremely creative and well-made. I specifically love the art, the comedy, the gameplay, and the first boss. The only thing I can think I would want changed on my end is the text as at a number of times it was slightly more difficult to read than I think it should have.

Our whole game dev team played this and were like "WOAH"

I would look forward to a more polished expanded release of this game.

Great game! I wish the game didn't reset when you lost (Probably just personal preference) but other than that it was a lot of fun.

I really like the coin part the game, I think its a very original concept that I didn't expect. Definitely 5 starts for originality. I would be excited about you exploring this concept in a full game :) Great job!

Dark souls is like Nintendogs to this game. I loved every minute of it and I loved the challenge, I DO wish you had a better idea somehow of where your scythe is going to hit, also I loved the art and the music!

This has been my favorite game of the jam so far, I love everything about this from the art, to the music, to the gameplay. The only thing that was tricky was the collisions, great game!

That means a lot thank you!

We are so happy you had fun with our game! Sorry you had issues with the different keys input, thats something we will make sure to take into consideration for the next game :) Sadly the you save your mother ending didnt call correctly due to a bug, but rest assured that you did wind up helping your mom!

This was a treasure to play

Thank you so much for the ideas! We plan to attempt to continue work on this project so we will copy over your notes on our end :) Very very happy you enjoyed the experience!

I wish I understood what was happening, but Im proud to say i got 365k

I really enjoyed playing this game. I think the difficulty and power ups are balanced really well  and its easy to understand.

In love with the art style. Didnt expect it to get so challenging near the end. Had a lot of fun playing this!

I like the art! However I couldn't figure out how to move :(

Sadly it looks like on the home stretch of releasing the correct scene didn't call for not doing any drugs. Rest assured though your mom was proud of the work you did and how you didn't take drugs! We are SO happy you liked our game and it makes us very happy you played it through :)

I really liked this, it was simple but very effective. Even though like maxwtrumpet I was not able to get the buttons to work I still had a lot of fun just balancing. I also loved the art and music. Great job!

Surprisingly challenging, I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Simple, effective, and amazing music. Great game I would play more.

Wholesome, sweet, and to the point. 5 stars, I agree with others I wish it was longer.

I really enjoyed this! The style was fantastic and I would love more of this. One thing that was challenging was the low sensitivity, but I overall very much enjoyed this.
