Short game, the platformer mechanics works so it's too bad you could not had more platforming element like the pit. Congrats on finishing the jam :)
I like the sounds and I love the tile set and the trees.
I really like the tree you land next to.
Very short, but nice game!
This game does what it wants to do quite effectively. It plays smoothly (good controls, and I ran into no bugs). Though I do have some criticism about the visuals; the ground tiles look pretty noisy, I think it could look nicer if you either limited the colour palette, or make there be less chunks farther down (like have the inside of the tiles be a flat colour). Or maybe you could have them fade to a flat colour? Not sure if that makes sense. Another thing is that I don't think it makes sense for the clouds to be on different parallax layers (I'm pretty sure they were, could be wrong though), because they are far enough away I don't think there would be much different between them. Overall it's great to keep scope small for game jams, and to not bite off more than you can chew, so what you did here is great. Congrats on finishing!
This is a nice game but very, very short
