Wow, such a unique idea for a jam! For some reason the best part for me was, throwing the drawers from their places...

Developer(+1)

I’ll be honest, it was for me too haha. Thanks for the kind words.

Solid submission

IF YOU'RE HAVING ISSUES WITH THE SAFE:

Hold down LEFT CLICK to show the safe lock. While holding down LEFT CLICK, also hold down RIGHT CLICK to move the safe lock. The numbers should "lock in" after about 1.5 seconds if you're not moving the safe lock.

Very cool!

How did you learn to implement audio recognition?
I really couldn't get the safe to open, sadly, but other than that, it's a pretty cool game!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, the instructions for the safe are not showing up. That's really frustrating. If you hold left click to view the safe, you can hold right click at the same time to turn the safe lock.

Thanks for playing! I wrote a Python web service that the game calls over the network.

Really cool and original concept! I wish speech recognition was used more as a game mechanic. I had to fake an American accent while playing around with speech to text to get it more accurate. Great idea and execution -well done!

In terms of bugs, the speech to text on linux didn't work for me on fedora 34 (no audio detected by the microphone), but running the windows build using wine worked fine.

Thanks for letting me know! (In discord too)

I really want to see if I can configure the Speech to text to use something regional so that I can detect English-speaking audio from different countries better

Unfortunately crashed when I first interacted with the phonograph. Cool concept and good atmosphere. The safe controls are not super clear.

Really? On which platform? Sorry about that. Definitely want to fix it ASAP.

On Linux (Ubuntu) - it worked the next time I tried, so might have been something on my end.

Hi everyone! Hope you enjoy the game.  A couple notes:

- If the speech-to-text doesn't work for you, let me know in discord (Dave McWave).
- Also, I was going for "lost tech" as in "old tech"!
