I've fixed/added some features ... word sorted is easier now; credits are properly shown and you see the words when collecting them

This was an interesting game idea: I also had alot of trouble with the UI for organising the words, I could get them in the right order (I think) but then wasn't sure what to do?

Developer

Thanks for testing. I hope to find a way to resolve and display the sorted words

I liked the sound effects and the 3d character controller.

The words sorting UI was rather confising, is seemed to behave non-deterministically :) (as was mentioned before here) A drag and drop version would maybe make more sense in a future similar game.

Developer

The audio was very nice indeed. Unfortunately the credits screen was missing it's json file. Will be fixed in next version

I broke the words sorter. I have a fix ready which looks and works better. I tried drag and drop but failed in understanding dragging UI controls.

I also have never done a drag and drop UI. My reflex would be to start programming it in gdscript, but there are probably some nice nodes you can use for it :)

Interesting concept; I think the scope may have been a bit too large for a jam of this length. Word mechanic is interesting but UI presentation got in the way for me.

Developer

Yeah ... it was a too big effort on my own. Last minute changes broke the sentences sorter making it an incomplete game :-(

The maze generations and random 'word' objects was a good lesson to learn for me. Hope to do something similar on a next jam ;-)

These files get reported as a virus for me :-(

Developer

Weird ... as you say plural `files` which one are you referring to?

Submitted

I said files but indeed there is only one .exe file. When I download this file on Windows with Microsoft Edge, it is blocked after a quick Defender scan. I tried to download it in Chrome which succeeds but after opening this file Defender flags it again and doesn't allow me to open it. It isn't clear what causes this report.

Maybe gently pat your computer on the back to calm it down? :)

My windows defender marks 90% of the GWJ as potential viruses so don't worry.
