Instantly fun game! I love the Vfx, Sfx and music too! I had trouble beating the fifth wave XD Your "Info" button lead nowhere in the HTML version.

huh, weird it works at my end. My program does this weird thing where sometimes the things won't load in and I can't figure out why it does that! Well I'll definitely try to fix it if I ever get the chance

It's fun and responsive, even though I kinda suck at it, haha! Charming graphics (I especially love the movement in the menu screen), nice sound and score that compliments the game. You use any particular VSTs for it or a tracker?

Developer

I can't take credit for the music, if you check out the credits tab you'll see the music developers! And at the end you'll also see a link to where I got the music! I'm glad you liked the graphics and the menu screen is a simple animation, because I felt like it needed that movement to really sell it!

Whoa! Fun game! I didn't get too far using my "always pick speed' strategy.   Music fit the game pretty well. Frenetic and fast-paced.  I wonder if a controller option could work.  The high-score board was a nice touch.  Overall, feels like a pretty polished experience.

Developer

sadly a controller wasn't made for the game but I could if I was invested enough into this game make the support work for it! It wouldn't be too hard!! I'm glad you liked it and also I do the health and attack strategy xD

Cool game ! I like the every mage has its own unique 2 skills and the upgrade choice every time you clear a wave. It's hard and i didn't get that far but its really fun, i like the pixel art and particle effects, especially the spawning effect, and that C64 style tune is a real banger !

Can't seem to find any issue i had on this one, so congrats :)

My boi tanky-earthsocker-William! But Eldeth the glass cannon fared better.

How did you get to wave 22? Black magic I am sure! ====¤ (▀̿̿Ĺ̯̿̿▀̿ ̿)

The music and gameplay, so catchy man! Addictive!

Developer

it's called skill and knowing the ins and outs of the game 😎 ALSO! THANK YOU for playing!!

Damn this is fun, the progression system where you can upgrade your different attributes really adds something. Out of curiosity, how are you generating the names for the mages? Are they randomly selected from a list or do you procedurally generate them?

Developer

they're three parts of the name! The first name like "William" or "Markus", then I add "The [type], [Mage or Wizard]"! That's how I make the random names!

Love the presentation, great sprites, and nice theme customization on the Godot control nodes.

Developer

Fun game! Like the variety of spells for the different types of mages. Could see myself spend hours playing this!
