This game was pretty fun. I really like the art style. So far I've beaten 3 levels and they were pretty decent. Not too easy, and not too hard. I did get a little bit annoyed with the first jump that you do with the squirrel. But, That was probably me just being bad at the game.
My only real complaint is that I find the goal marker thing at the end of each level, to be a little weird looking. And that's barely a complaint.
Hi Derek, I need to tell you the game probably gets way harder after the third level. The squirrel/rabbit will jump higher the longer you hold jump, that's something to keep in mind!
As for the level ending, I was trying to make some kind of teleporting portal, sorry if it looks weird
I really enjoyed the Blehhh sound effect from the fungus controlling the animals.
This game will appeal to all ages. Even my Grandma loved it!
This is sinister. The contrast between the bright, cartoony graphics and the act of enslaving innocent creatures for brief moments of time before you discard their little lives like disposable packaging is actually really jarring. Not helped by the fact that every death is accompanied by an explosion of giblets, the abundance of rotating saws, or the fact that your level designer seems to take a perverse glee in my frustration as I navigate yet another deathtrap using creatures with all the dexterity of a crab wielding a fountain pen.
In short: good game! You monster.
I gotta admit, sinister is the feeling i wanted to express with the game! Some frustration and repetition was indeed planned by me from the start, but it wasn't my intention to make bad controls the cause of it, I will improve those for sure. I hope you were able to overcome all the devilishly designed levels anyways to reach the Hollywood dramatic endind!
