This is a fun little demo and a neat idea! I could see the stats rolling being used to interesting effect in a full game. Great job making your first finished game for a jam!
Great idea for rolling stats for the platforming, nice job on creating a game for the jam!
YESSSSSS GET INTO IT AMAZING
I love the little art guy
If you fall, you keep on falling
Nice job on your game! Loved the graphics
Hey, as the others said, despite not being a lot of gameplay just yet, congratulations on finishing and submitting a game, this is not a small feat!
About game design choices, I love the fact that you can reroll as many times as you want. This way, it is random but not unfair because you can reroll if you want.
Loved the stat rolling, however there wasn't much more gameplay beyond that point, as you surely know. The game may be buggy and 'incomplete', but the important thing is that you were brave enough to put yourself under pressure, make this game, and present it to the world. I'm sure that if you keep going you will have something great to show us in the following years of game jams! Keep up the good work!
Check out the project I created visuals and sounds for: (please rate it :3 )

I like the idea of rolling stats before every level, great job :D
Also: I'm not sure about the invisible platforms, could be a wrong setting in the sprite renderer component.
Thanks! And I figured out the platform thing, somehow the Z position of the container they're all under (just an empty GameObject with no components other than a transform) got set behind the camera so you couldn't see any of them. Too bad there's no bug fixes allowed until voting ends, but at least I was able to figure out what was wrong. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Alright, I’m glad you got that thing sorted out. Indeed, parenting can mess up the transform component :( I think for 2D games (or at least for simpler ones) every object’s z position should be at zero and only the sorting layers and the orders inside those layers should be adjusted, that could save you some time and headache in the long run.
