I really like how wild you went with the randomness. That said, it was a bit overwhelming when you shoot a bunch at once. The slow reload speed with difficult aiming and piercing bullets is a great combination :)
Nice idea of the random effects.
Hello from the fellow GameMaker enthusiast!
I like the idea and the art you have. The idea that the offset of the gun relative to the cursor is random is also great in my opinion. Game is really challenging too which i like.
Nice idea. I like the random changes to your and the enemy variables. Perhaps a smaller 'range' of randomness (or a maximum change that can happen at once) would benefit the gameplay better.
Also, the level design is hindering the player since you cannot jump through the platform from below and you cannot jump to the left platform from the lower ones, forcing you only to the right platforms.
I like the background and monster art!
Well done overall!
Thank you so much!! I totally agree... That got too random and making some changes could have resulted in better playability.
I don't think I can get past 12 mainly since it gets too hard for me lol
Overall this could use some balancing to make it enjoyable since it feels more unfairly difficult atm. I think having the enemy spawn less and random events less intense at the beginning, then gradually build up could allow the player to at least not die within the first 10 seconds. Nice effort though!
Haha Thanks, its actually my first game jam , and i totally agree!! I'm just glad i could finish tbh 😂. Thanks for playing !
