Good game.

I find the idea kind of promising having a top-down (roguelike) shooter with random dice throws at the end of a level to provide options to either get more rarer loot/less to even stronger/weaker enemies. Sadly I did not enjoy the game as it crashed nearly instantly on me.

I liked the music as I generally like chiptune.

And my stance is: Only 1 chance for everyone (Edit: Because I really go out and try to test as many games as possible ^^). Still! 1/4/4! Good job.

Stay crunchy.

Cover photo was kind of misleading... by that I mean it lead me to an amazing game! If you'd like some update suggestions, a mini-map, shop (to spend the money), change in weaponry, more diverse rooms and bosses would be cool! I couldn't even manage to make a pathfinding algorithm for my game because this is my first ever serious attempt at creating a game, so I pray that you don't check out my dumbass game :')

Thank you for the feedback! I definitely rushed the cover photo and page for the game last-minute but I've updated it to hopefully give people a better idea of what to expect. A lot of the ideas you mentioned were originally planned but unfortunately we just ran out of time.

This game has so much potential. Its art style is so fun. The only sad thing is that it crashes whenever I want to go to the next level. I cannot make any further comments but I really want to see this game fixed and playable after the jam finishes as it just seems like such a good game.

If possible could you check out my game? Any feedback would be appreciated

Thanks for playing our game! Unfortunately we didn't spot this bug until after we submitted but the crash occurs when you click the roll button on a modifier without a die. You have to click and drag the die you want to use for each modifier from the inventory in the bottom left to the empty dice slots before you click the roll button. Once you've rolled all of them, the "go to next level" button becomes enabled.

I'd be happy to check your game too!

Ok I've followed that and it all works now. The game truly is amazing. I really hope this is developed into an actual game with more level variation, enemies and maybe even bosses!

I wanted to ask though, what do you do with the money in the bottom right of your screen?
