Shuffleboard, you're speaking my language! And this is great! Could very easily get sucked into a full rogue-like version of this. The only thing I wanted to see added is for the dice to hit each other along like real shuffleboard - oh, and maybe for enemy players to also play dice down, so you could knock their attacks around

Developer

Ooh, those are awesome ideas-- definitely going to look into that!

I just want to come back to say this is so far the best thing I've played in the jam. And that I'd 100% pay for a game like this with a more robust world-bit.

Thank you very much! I tapped a vein here and I'm working on refining it. You'll be the first to know :)

Cool game! Great job

Nice work, I really enjoyed this one ! Loved the new zones and the upgrades ideas ! Unfortunately,  I crashed when I used piercing attack against a summoner

i actually think this is a really cool idea for a game! initially i thought the dice rolling was a bit too finnicky i eventually got (a bit) used to it. i think i could see this being developed further into a full game, maybe! personally i think the dice could've been either thrown to the right instead of the left since you attack from the left (or maybe vertical thrown up?) but besides that it's pretty fun. would also love to see how the dice could be tied more into the story too

So creative. Loved the progression of adding new zones to attack, upgrading your capabilities and also taking away chances to miss. It did crash for me once, I think it was I used the piercing attack on two enemies in from of a summoner? Other than that, great concept and really fun to play

Developer(+1)

Sorry to hear about the crash-- I think I got the same thing, trying to figure it out ATM. Thanks for the feedback and the kind words!

Seriously,  great idea - I like the theme and the gameplay is really creative. I am for sure adding this one to my list of interesting Godot games!

Feel free to come check out my puzzle dungeon game if you have time :)

This was the funnest one I've played so far. when I saw there were options to add rows or areas to the board, that was really cool

I could see this becoming really addictive. with some polish and stuff it could be a decent game

i really liked the implementation of this idea!
had a blast playing it! 5/5 😁

Really creative idea! Having upgrades that modify the different areas of your board is a really cool concept, you could probably do a lot of really interesting stuff with that if you had more time.

Also FYI: Godot by default puts that filter over pixel art which makes it look blurry when blown up. If you have the texture selected you can uncheck "Filter" under the import options and then re-import it to fix that

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Ooh, thanks for the tip! I didn't know that you could disable the filter on anything other than text. Thanks for playing :)

Nice game!

this doesn’t run on Linux

Developer(+1)

Oops, sorry, I'll make that more explicit
