Very interesting game concept SPIDERS!
Pretty solid jam concept. Fits the theme. As an improvement, you could constrain the player to only moving within the window instead of allowing them to move outside of it.
i was working on this but i didnt have enough time to get it to work properl
I like the random start, but I think it still needs a lot of improvemnets, good try
It is my first game jam and my first game in general
I like the random start, but I think it still needs a lot of improvemnets, good try
i found a way to cheat death in this game and got negative health
but then i got swarmed by (literally) 50 spider dice and couldn't move lol
yea that happens from time to time lol sorry for the inconvenience
I like the boon/bane randomization that occurs at the start of the game, it really helps to give a new experience every time you play the game. However, I ran into multiple bugs/glitches that either required me to reload the page or killed me without warning. I would suggest adding some "heads up" mechanic that notifies players where enemies are going to spawn.
Thanks for the feedback! Ill keep these things in mind if i ever try and improve the game beyond its state from the jam. You can submit any bugs here docs.google.com/forms/d/1zLrHhXtp0r8obogGsAK31U-6FYomNoR92zcJ9efNg_M (the link probably works)
I like the idea of having the starting things randomized but with such a sort time period implementing the number of stats that are needed for that to be fun is hard. Also you should add a pause before the first wave so you aren't just immediately surrounded.
I'd really appreciate it if you could take the time to review my game
Thanks ill keep these in mind if i ever improve the game! And sure ill review your game
