Cool concept. Loved the art style. This could be a pretty cool game is fleshed out.
I didn't realize I could zoom until the very end, so I was missing a lot of the map.

How does your game fit the theme?
The main mechanic of the game involves the player drawing a path that both starts and ends at their headquarters.

This one was very cool and much deeper than I first anticipated. It pulled me in with its "simple to learn, hard to master"-like gameloop.
Man this was pretty to look at! Loved all the wobbly bits and vibrant colors. Great work on the entry!
One of the most unique ideas I saw at GameJam, I really liked it. Congratulations!
LOVED the game. Unfortunately I encountered the problem of "no more controls for you" after finding a couple cogs. Couldn't reset my path and the path never connected to my base anymore- Will revisit this later to play again though ♥
It took me a bit to understand, but this is a very interesting idea. I did eventually get a softlock where I couldn't move on from the exploration phase for some reason. Regardless, this definitely has potential.
I really enjoyed it and can clearly imagine what a full game would be like, with more levels and everything. Perhaps a way to see enemy actions in advance would be cool to create a deeper layer of strategy (something like Into the Breach), and maybe some player advancements here and there (health and walking time, for example). But as a game jam, it's great! Very well done!
very fun game, interesting take on the theme and i love it! maybe a bit of a more in depth tutorial could have made it easier to understand, i felt a bit lost at the beginning, but game jam so understandable :) im not great at puzzle games usually but the difficulty seemed perfect, i felt the need to think hard about some of them but also never struggled enough to fully give up. great job!
if you have time, id really appreciate it if you could give me some feedback on my game (https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2025/rate/3780834) - its my first game jam and im looking to get better!
The visual styling is gorgeous and does its job perfectly! Well done :D
Really fun concept !! I think i would've liked additional mechanics such as a way to increase your time walking around or less hunger loss. Maybe something to do with turret range. Still kept me playing !!
Amazing work! The gameplay is super unique and I thought the strategy / challenge was really well balanced. I definitely abused the fact that night 1 has no monsters lol. The art is really stylized too I love it. Would be so cool to turn this into a full game with different planets etc. Maybe turrets you plant around the base etc. Anyways great job and congrats! Also if you like puzzle platformers feel free to check my entry out :)
Nice work, love the art! I love how everything is animated and feels alive. The gameplay is very unique and definitely fits the theme well. Only suggestion would be to be more consistent with the visual style between the UI and game.
Congrats on your submission :)
It would be good if everything was in the pixel art style. The UI borders, the selection reticle, and the movement arrows seem to clash with the rest of the style. It would be good if the character flipped to the left when moving left.
If you expand it, I would have liked some safe spaces out in the darkness. Also some more mechanics, like: ability to upgrade your base. Ability to see a spot out in the darkness without having to go there.
I got enough ship parts and escaped, hooray! I would have played more. It's good not knowing what is in the dark and having to explore it. I like the pixel art style. The main character especially looks nice.
