I loved this vibe! the graphics were fun, the sounds were nice, and the music set the tone well. the only complaint I had was that sometimes you rolled badly and never got enough fire rate upgrades to make later levels feasible. With more balancing, it could be even better! My game was also made in Scratch by the way :)

Excellent art and animation, so much charm. The start of the game is a bit slow

I like the art style but i like the sound design even more. There are a lot of cool sound effects in this game and the music is banger. The only issue is at the start the game is kinda slow. Would be glad if you checked out our game too!

Really charming style, and a good variety of upgrades. I liked that the pulsar held them in place so that you could hit multiple at once. I felt like the shooting speed was fine since you can hold down your mouse and auto-fire. A few of the earlier levels could've used a few more fuzzies to earn some extra cash and so that they weren't getting spawn-blasted, but the variety of faster and tougher guys later in the game made up for it.

I lost 3 levels - level 8 once (I let too many of the healing fuzzballs stay on the screen for too long, and they got gigantic), and twice at the last boss. I really liked that you could still earn and carry over gold from levels, so that you could keep building up and win eventually regardless of skill/item placement. Great jam entry!

Thanks for leaving me such a detailed and kind review! I'm super glad you stuck around for most of the levels. I'll definitely take your feedback into account for any future updates or balance changes after the jam rating period is over, and I'm really glad you enjoyed playing the game :)

I loved playing this game. The fuzzies are adorable, and make me happy looking at them. The large boss fuzzy was hard to defeat, but I did it. This game had such a warm, cozy, fun vibe and very creative graphics.  The items in the market were sure helpful, and I liked the variety of things to buy.  The audio was super fun, and overall I felt like this was a unique and enjoyable game : ) Awesome and thank you for creating this!

It felt a little slow to me. I noticed some other comments saying this, and your replies about it being a tutorial for the player. It's definitely hard to find the balance, since you don't know what sort of person might be playing - you could make it faster, and then it would be too fast for some people. I would've liked a faster firing speed, like twice as fast (even if it did less damage), since the firing speed felt frustratingly slow. And some kind of visual or auditory (or both) indication that the laser was ready to fire again.

I liked Mr Worvin floating across on a cloud for upgrades. I liked that you could hit several of the fuzzies at once and get a combo if they were in the same spot. The art, animation, sounds, and music all went well together. It's cool that you made it in Scratch. 🙂

Thanks for reviewing, and I appreciate the detailed feedback. I agree that a faster game works better for these types of jams, where people only play games for a couple of minutes before moving on, rather than the traditional progression a regular game would entail. I'll keep your suggestions in mind in case of any future updates!

The shooting speed kinda drove me insane. Even with a few upgrades way too slow 😭. Had troubles with the web version, it kept dragging out an image when I was left-clicking the mouse. Pretty little game though.

That's strange, that's the first time I've heard of this issue. The game is packaged using Turbowarp Package and converted to an HTML file, which is embedded into a web version. I'm not sure why you experienced this problem, and I'm sorry if that affected your experience.

Hope you still enjoyed the game and thank you for your review! Really sorry to hear you had issues playing :/

This is fun. Art style is really simple but you managed to give it life and character and I love it a lot. Sound design is on fire especially the shopkeeper. And a good take on the theme. A suggestion would be tho, it would be great to have a visual feedback to let players know when they can shoot again after last shot. Anyway, great job!!

Super glad you enjoyed so many parts of the game! I do appreciate the feedback and agree that an indicator of when to reload would be helpful. I think it slipped under the radar since working on the game so much must have subconsiously allowed me to memorize the exact time a new shot is ready, but I must have forgot that new players aren't able to do this. Thank you for playing!!

I was dismissive at first about the green healer guys, but found out the hard way that they are actually my number one enemies and have to be destroyed first at all costs.  Light blue and orange guys + green ones are a formidable combo. I had a point where my whole screen was covered in giant fuzzies. Thank god for the pulsar, it is OP.

Loved this game. Simple, funny, and fun to play. Great job.

Haha, yes, the Green Fuzzies do tend to spiral out of control if left unchecked. Super glad you enjoyed the game, and I truly appreciate you playing! 😁

The sound and graphic were perfect for the playful tone of the game. I really enjoyed shooting the laser.

Lovely game! The art and sounds are so charming, it’s easy to get lost playing.
