I love this! … the hour i spent downloading the whole 600 mbs weren’t a waste afterall
I love the fact that you used the music interpretation of scale, I really wanted to but I didn’t find a good idea, so glad to see people are this creative!
great entry man
Thanks a lot :D
The controls are a bit tricky but it's a really great game. What it lacks in graphics it more than makes up in fun gameplay. Great job
Thanks! :D
Pretty cool game! The controls definitely confused me a little at first. The idea is pretty cool and it would be pretty cool to see more music options
Thanks for your input!
Can you elaborate on which aspect of the controls was confusing? Was it the flight controls (which is just 6-DOF flight, like good old Descent) or the controls over the note players?
Personally, the flight controls was hard to get used to because I was not expecting that but other than that it was fine.
I love the idea of a music focused automation game! This sandbox is neat, but feels like its lacking in features. I like the style and it is a cool little environment though.
Only critique on the technical side is that the mouse movement feels floaty. In a space game this would feel at home, but here I would prefer more direct control.
Thanks for your reply!
Yep, it is lacking in features - the automation aspect, basically... Jam time lol :)
Thanks for pointing out the mouse movement... I admit, I kind of got used to the floatiness from said space games, haha.
I had a lot of fun with this. The inclusion of base with the right click was very appealing to me. Exploring this concept further to make the 3D interaction complement the music making mechanic would be something cool to explore, like a 3d drum set where you move your mouse to hit different drums. Great work with this!
I'm glad that you had fun :)
This is a interesting demo, it's true that you base game idea to combine automation and music could lead to a really good game. Congrats on releasing something, in the end I just liked to fly in your small world and play a bit of music :D
I'm glad to hear that you had fun :)
I think a 3d musical sandbox like this is a fun idea! Would be interested to see a more fleshed out version that's a little more user friendly.
Yeah me too, I'll be working on it :) Thanks for playing!
