Oh man what a cool concept. The background is trippy I like it alot.
thanks so much for playing and the kind words
Very cool game, I like that the eye looks at the mouse cursor, and the gameplay is very enjoyable, great job!
Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed!
This is a cool game! I also did something similar in concept lol. It would be cool to have a score system so I could see how many blood cells Ive eaten
thanks for playing, I agree that it would be a good idea to have scoring!
That's a very unique concept, I like the originality here.
Slightly hard to control, and the BG glitched out for me, but that happens. I appreciate the mobile adaption too! Well done :)
Yeah, we spent most of the time trying to finesse the controls and grappling hooks are just hard. Thanks for playing!
I like the concept and the way Amoeba scales, making it harder to escape the police! Love the Pac-Man style white blood cells, too :D Best of luck!
Thanks so much for playing and glad you enjoyed!
I love the art! but the gameplay is kinda finicky imo and it would be really cool if there was some sort of score counter or smth (unless there is and i just didnt notice, then mb)
Thanks for play, unfortunately we ran out of time trying to finesse the movement, but definitely agree a counter would have been good to have
I went back and bug fixed the project and took your suggestion if you're interested.
Love the swinging movement, very interesting. I do agree with other comments with it being hard to control but I like an aspect of its fiddliness and the slow scaling challenge when you get bigger and it becomes harder to escape the police. Also like the way the string wobbles when it latches onto something!
Worlds smallest criminal!
Thank you for playing! And man this feels like an achievement this my first fan art, thank you so much!
Would you mind if I featured it on the game page (with credit of course)?
Intresting concept!
Cool graphics and effects
But controls defeated me XD
Thanks for playing! What about the controls was frustrating, did it feel like it was unpolished/bugged or just the entire momentum based grappling felt bad?
Overall not very intuitive controls. It seems like you are catching on to something, but you end up flying randomly in different directions :P
makes sense I appreciate the feedback!
The art-style is great but the controls really feel wonky. Also I feel as if the rope has a visual bug where it doesn't actually latch into the object. Still congratulations finishing jam game will always be impressive.
Thanks for playing, I appreciate it, there a plenty of bugs, we spent most of the jam trying get the movement to work right and it was a tough cookie to crack as there aren't many Godot tutorials for grappling hooks.
Third microorganism game I've come across today (not counting mine)! :D The controls are a bit unintuitive and the camera probably needs a rework, but I liked the art style and animations. Nice work!
Yeah, I think it was low hanging fruit, but it fit the idea. I agree about the camera 100% thanks for playing!
Nice.
I like the concept and art, but the controls were a bit tricky to get working when most of the things you can grapple are off-screen.
thanks for playing, 100% agree, time caught up to us for tuning the camera etc.
Fun and cute game! I liked swinging the amoeba around once I got the hang of it, but I wish I could see more as the amoeba grows
Thanks for playing! Yes, I agree that it would be good to zoom out the camera more as you grow
Cool concept, the animations are pretty great, but the controls need a bit getting used to. Good job overall.
Thanks so much for playing, and I'm glad you enjoyed it (at least a bit)
It took me a second to get used to the controls, but once I did it was fun swinging around. Also, the animation when the amoeba grabs the red blood cell was really juicy and satisfying.
Thanks I appreciate it, it took a while to animate so I'm glad it added something
