interesting take on the theme, I was also thinking of music scales while brainstorming
This is a pretty creative idea, but I think the platforms should not disappear when you die.
I like the concept, but I did not manage to do the first level. The zone moving at a completely different speed than the character was just too much for my old hands... I think a bit of leniency might help :)
Really cool take on the "Scale" theme
I wasn't able to get through the first part without dying so perhaps slow down the kill zone or make it bigger
Recommendation for movement control also is add some coyote time as often I'd just fall off the start instead of jumping when I wanted.
I love the scale builder though! Nice work
Cool concept, I like how you interpreted the theme! I found it a little bit frustrating when my music reset everytime i messed up, but I did like the piano keys slamming sound after you do, very fitting!
I love the idea, I didnt end up making it past the first scale because the controls are a bit touchy but here are my suggestions:
- Have the notes you place stay after you die so you can try again
- Widen the kill area, it was very difficult to jump and stay in the ever moving zone
- Maybe have the notes be placed with the mouse so you don't take control away from the keyboard
