What a freaking awesome game. Felt good going around and attacking very smooth.
This game is awesome! I love the visual style and gameplay. The style changes are so cool! I think this game would work well as a roguelike since it could continue on through any number of levels. I got to the third level, but I am going to try some more and see how far it goes. Congrats!
That was fun! The mechanics are solid and fun to use, the concept is creative, and the art is charming. Although, it's a little easy (for me) to cheese the skullball with mouse-spam. Good work!
Thanks Clark! We are happy that you enjoyed it! Leaving the attack without coldown was a team decision so that everyone could win it! You can even hit the skullball more than once before it hits the wall and beat it faster, you also have a small invulnerability time after using the dash! I'm showing the cards hahaha
Turns out skeletons arent good at dodgeball! Great Game!
The way the color palette changes and how the dash and the ball trail pop, the skull slowly growin and those pesky skellys roamiung around, I really loved it. <3
A delightful concept, reminiscent of brick breaker - I was actually surprised when the walls didn't weaken brick by brick and instead fell as a whole. Loved the concept, loved the novel challenges each dungeon introduced, struggled to win in any way other than spamming attack on the wall
hold up there was a dash button? That aside, great game, some wonky hitboxes that evened out with the very mashable M1 didn’t stop me from getting to the last level. Cool aesthetic and the way every level changes got me surprised twice, very pretty!
Yeah! You dash with the space bar :D
We'll see what you say about the hitboxes!
I really liked this game. Very nice pixel art and effects (the screen shake and "sword" swing is top notch!) and a sweet level change mechanic! Good job!
The moment the wall breaks for the first time and the changes to color was pretty great! Took me a few minutes to realize the angle of my mouse relative to the character was what determined where the skull would go. Nice work!
Wow this was really cool! Loved how the game shifts and zooms out when you break the walls, it felt pretty magical and unexpected.
Would've appreciated having more options like a roll, dash or maybe even shooting projectiles to intercept the ball from further away
I feel like this has the potential to be a cool simple game where you upgrade your character until you can start just kicking and kicking the ball making it bigger every time, a clicker style game but without the usual clicking mechanics lol.
Cool game!
First of all, i like a lot the idea and the retro style you've in this game ! The mechanic is very simple but so fun when scaling the skull, goood job
Very cool!!! I love the part where It changed from black and white to colored, nice touch! Was pleasantly surprised when the b&w changed into colorful, enjoyed playing it, well done!
really fun game, its like volleyball but better.
Great game ! However i think you should add a cooldown to the attacks so we can't spam them and push ennemies. Well done though :)
This sort of reminds me of Boomeraxe. Great game! I would make enemies not be affected by knockback from the player, just be harmed by the skull, otherwise I cna just spam the attack to never be hit by enemies and just have to avoid arrows and spikes. I could see a lot of improvement here!
Phew this game was hard but it was so good too. It felt so good to line up my hits against the skull to destroy a whole group!
Great game! Very challenging, and the feeling of having a hoard of enemies getting crushed by the skull is incredible hahahaha
At first I didn't realize that the skull was getting bigger as I was hitting it, but once I got it everything made sense. I liked the idea of the level scaling up to move to next phase, great one! Congrats folks!
Very solid gameplay, and impressively polished. Well Done!
The very fun and unique concept, mixed with a great style and fluid, well-paced gameplay made for a much-enjoyed playthrough!
