If you're playing the post jam version, it saves automatically after the end of each dungeon run. Check to see, there may be a "continue" button when you start the game again :)

Thank you!

The swap mechanic has definitely been the biggest pain point for players. Unfortunately, no, there isn't a clear way to tell what swap will be made. If the game ever gets developed further, I'm sure that system will change ^^;

Post-jam version is released :)

Post-jam version is released :)

I'm just the composer, so I'll let the devs comment if they have time. I expect it will mostly be graphical juice and some QOL updates.

The team is working on a post-jam update that should address some of these issues.

Monsters regenerate health if there is a healer in their group. There will be more fx and indications of that in the new build 🙂

thanks for checking it out and leaving feedback!

They'll all fit! You just gotta realllly squeeze 'em in there. :)

Haha, thanks! It was a pleasant surprise to us too ^^;

Thank you for the detailed feedback! Really happy you enjoyed it 😁

Aw yiss!!! Congrats on being featured 😅

😂

Great aesthetic and really fun little detective game.  The graphical restraints of the resolution meant you had limited options with the designs of the desktop icons, and I ocassionally found myself forgetting which icon did what and where I'd previously seen information that I needed, but that is a small quibble. Really well done!!

I really enjoy this sort of mechanic, but haven't ever seen it used like this. It gets so joyfully mind-bending. Really good challenge! I'd love some controller support or key rebinds, I think the control scheme is my only complaint. Really excellent!

Someone earlier in the comments did the math as to how likely it is a player's own game would appear, it's pretty low... I've been waiting for someone to say they saw their own ^^;

Did you see yours??

Really clever mechanic that I can imagine being fleshed out into a really robust and fun strategic card game. Well done!

Nice art and music! The little demon is very cute. I couldn't quite figure out why I was dying. There must've been a meter or somethign on screen, but I was so focused on the possessed character and trying to avoid attackers that death always came as a surprise.

Incredible art direction and fun, fitting music. I always enjoy concepts that explore what "bad guys" are up to when the hero isn't around. Nice work!

well we didn't exactly choose not to follow... But we did choose not to review the guidelines ahead of time. 😅 But honestly even if we do get disqualified we're just happy people are enjoying it so much!

just refresh the files enough and you'll be in the video eventually 😂💚

😎 you know it!

We flew too close to the sun... 😅

Thanks for your input! You're right, I think especially for people who haven't ever used video editing software. I've made a short tutorial in the game description now. :)

Thank you for the input! We didn't have time to implement one into the game before the deadline, but I've added one to the game description on the page. Appreciate you taking the time to check our game out!

Great minds think alike!

No, I think it has been confusing for several people. Unfortunately within the 48 hour limit sometimes tutorialization doesn't make the cut. ^^;
I've added a tutorial to the game description on the page if you want to check it out again!

Thank you! I'm guessing you've already figured it out, but I've added a tutorial to the game description :)

Cute idea, with really fun, energetic music. The click/drag placement of trampolines could feel a little fiddly at times but otherwise all the mechanics clear and easy to understand. Nice work!

Very cute. The music once you've won is absolutely top notch 😂

Yeah we were so excited about the idea we kinda forgot to review all of the guidelines... 😅

They all are! They're pulled from this year's submissions ^^

Thanks so much, Avy!

Gotcha. Thanks for the heads up!

How so?

Haha good to hear!

Thanks so much ^^

Thanks for your help with the playtesting!

It will automatically buy kernels at whatever the market cost is at the end of the day. Your birds will stay fed, but you'll go into debt ^^;

Thanks so much! That's an unfortunate bug in the jam version, but the post jam version (1.2) fixes this as well as adds a couple of new things :)

Both are available and labeled in the Downloads section
