The character designs are so cute!!
thanks!!! The characters and animations were easily 70%of my 48 hours lol
Funny dialogue and characters. The voice acting is what brought me here and I was not disappointed.
thank you!!! Yeah I definitely prioritized Story over Mechanics lmao I had an entire cutscene recorded and had to scrap it because the dialog involved collecting rings and I couldn’t do it 🥲😅
Are you going to continue making this? I want to see what happens next. I saw that your username is the same as the game's name. I assume that you will continue making the game. Right?
I'll probably make a second game, or a series of little episodic games as a way to practice! "CHEW GUM" are the characters names and it's a cartoon series I made/make (they're not usually robots, that's new!) at a glance you can see https://www.youtube.com/@chewgumseries the cartoon series has always been done in Unreal Engine, which got me thinking I should finally dive deeper into the game side and just make, essentially, playable cartoons!
took a bit to get used to the timing of the jump, but a fun addition to the thing of chewgum!
thanks!!! Yeah if I wasn’t under a time limit I’d have definitely changed the dynamics. Something for the next game!
once i got used to the jump i had a good time. can't wait to see what else comes next.
thanks! I definitely prioritized story over mechanics with my 48 hours lol. I definitely want to make another mini game/story sooner than later! Ideally one with songs! And possibly browser-accessible. Or even mobile, not sure...!
I also didn't realize I could jump on the sisters before reading the comments lol, I'm glad I could see the final cutscene though. Incredible game, definitely one of the games of all time. It gets eerily silent in the gameplay section though, which contrasted a bit. Still, incredibly funny, great job!
I know! I wanted to make music for the gameplay! This was my first game jam and I planned so poorly, there's an entire 3rd cut scene with dialog. Sigh. And thanks!!!
The humor always makes me chuckle, great game!
yay! thank you!!! :D You're on every platform! eheh
I made an account just so I could vote for your game xD.
goooooooooooooddddddddddddddddd
Hi!!!! Thanks for playing it and voting! My first unreal "game". lmao
This game is so random and hilarious. I have no idea when one of those million sisters is gunna jump from behind XD
Oh thanks so much! Oh you worked on your game with a partner and they played it too!? That's so cool of you guys!
This is definitely a unique premise. And very charming characters (even with questionable morals haha)
Thanks lol I'm definitely a Story-First type of person for sure 😅
I'm unsure of how to move some of the sisters out of the way, but gosh, the beginning skit was great! I love the artstyle as well
oh thanks! you just mario jump on their heads lol there's a whole cut scene at the end too if you win! I forgot to mention that and haven't figured out how to edit my description
I can't believe I haven't tried jumping on them! I'll give it another go!
Got to the end! All in all, this game had a very charming PS1 style, I liked it!
Thanks!!! i can't believe you retried it, that's so cool! I'm glad you got to see the ending! lol it's not as high quality as the first one since, ya know, game jam but I was just glad I was able to actually get like a "story" into the whole thing in 48 hours!
