Making a tower attack game was my first idea too. It's as i imagined. However we decided to make an other game. Good idea after seeing what you've done.

Really neatly polished game. One thing I really struggled with is keeping rack of what was happening, my field of vision felt really slow. I also missed some kind of interesting challenge, nothing prevents me from endlessly spamming the most overpowered unit. Regardless this is by far one of the better games that had this idea. Well done!

I really loved this take on the reversed tower attack idea! I think the actual towers attacking is pretty funny and leads to some unique designs. I really like how each tower has its own abilities and uses and I love the pixel art and the animations. Really cool stuff! I think I found that spending all my money on the lighthouse that shoots little pellets was the way to go and made the game quite easy once I figured that out. This was a really fun idea and I'd love to see it develop further sometime!

I'm glad that you enjoyed our game. We too figured out later that the lighthouse was a bit too overpowered. we're definitely gonna work on this some more. Thanks for the feedback!

Wasn't expecting the towers to literally be attackers haha. I think this game would benefit from a smaller map so the player can keep track of when and where enemies are being added to adjust their strats. The fast running lighthouses made me laugh haha

Thanks for the feedback! We wanted to implement a camera that would zoom in and out, but unfortunately that would have messed with te code. I glad you liked it!

Were you the artist in this game? The animations looked fantastic! Congratulations!

Yes I am, thank you! I designed and animated the towers, and another friend of ours designed the enemies and their animations.

I loved making this game together too, Can't wait until next year!

I really like your implementation of this. Having the towers be the attackers was brilliant.

Developer

Thank you! It was a really silly idea haha

this is like sissyphus but fun

Thank you, although pushing a giant rock up a mountain over and over again sounds plenty fun to me.

The game was supposed to end at score: 100, however due to a bug the game continues.
