great implementation of this idea
Thanks!
This game was fun and it looks quite nice! I think I would have liked to have some visual indication of how close I am to destroying a tower. I also lost at one point while I still had quite a lot of troops left on the field so I'm not too sure I understand the "power" meter thing and what it does. Still, had a fun time and the game looks quite polished for 48h. Good job!

Thanks for the feedback! Clarity of army power and a couple of other not so obvious mechanics was one of my concerns, but I am glad that it is enjoyable nonetheless!
I like the idea of a reverse tower defence. I think it would be cool to have the enemy towers built up over time, rather than destroyed. Decorative button is very funny :D
Thanks! The decorative button was totally intentional and definitely not a planned settings menu that I just didn't get around to, lol
An idea is an idea. I like it, but I don't think it works in this case.
There's very little strategy involved and I didn't feel like I had fun playing it.
Before I knew it, I won and I had no idea what I did that made that victory possible.
That being said, I do want to see this developed further post-jam! One thing that comes to mind are units that have abilities you can activate or speeding up-slowing down units to get around area of effect towers. Think Lemmings, but abilities are decided ahead the time and you just activate them. Point is: I think the player should be able to control more stuff than just when they spawn and how often.
Thank you so much for the feedback! Apart from more variety in troops/towers, I have a few different ideas where this could go to help make strategy more impactful. The lemming style ability system is also a good idea, thanks for the suggestion!
Nice execution! Congratulations on your submission, a solid game for the jam! <3
Thank you!
I really like the execution of this game, I think its cool that we both got the same idea of a reverse tower defense game. Would have loved to have more troop options. overall really fun!
