this was quite fun, i think the halftone/dot pattern is a little distracting and the character is a bit jittery at speed but other than that this was a really good submission.

I liked the wackiness of the game. The game would have benefited a lot from checkpoints imo!

Wow i laughed a lot playing this game. The core concept is really fun and the game plays super well. Really great job one of my favorites!

Thanks a lot : )

Was pretty confused at first and didn’t even realize there was a score system, the concept is pretty cool I like the integration of the vacuum mechanics!

It was fun to move around using them :]

Really cool game ! love the concept and art

Cool game! I really wished there were checkpoints, or perhaps I just didn't reach them. I wanted to play more, but having to restart the whole game was a bit discouraging

Thanks a lot! I get what you mean - the game would have been a lot less frustrating lol

Very interesting approach to art and theme, good job

Thank you! :)))))

Did not realise at first that I had to blow to move :D

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! And yeah, it would have been nice if we added some controls at the start.

This is really fun. Also, really challenging. It's a fun idea, and executed well, though it is unforgiving. I don't really understand how to use sucking up physical objects. I really enjoyed being unable to use direct movements.

Developer

Hey there! Thanks a lot for the feedback, I must say that I agree with what you: sucking up objects and blowing them out has no use other than damaging enemies and clearing your path. We wanted to add a "Super Blast" - you'd fill up your vaccuum and blow out a lot of items at once, which could be used as a big jump to get to higher places.

My friend called this a "Foddian game", like Bennet Foddy. I literally said "OH it's like getting over it!" And I like that game! I really enjoyed playing that, it felt pretty cool to zoom around like a modern day witch with a vacuum cleaner instead of a broom

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot!  I've been wanting to create a Foddian game for a while now, since I really liked Getting Over It and some of the other games he made. I learned that Bennet Foddy was actually a professor in Game Design in NYU (New York University), and even though I'm a Game Art student I still wanted to be one of his students haha.

Funny thing is that my teammember who came up with this concept didn't play it, but it still reminds me of his games : )
